Everything perfect, clean and tidy house, well furnished, excellent hot water, there is security at the gate and a lady who manages the cleaning. Also had very fast laundry service. The lady referred me to a trusted driver and restaurants. Only negative note, there was no soap in the house but I had been told in advance. There is a mosque nearby that makes the call to prayer very noisy at night and many dogs barking, but obviously the host can't do anything about it and in Uganda they are common things.

This was a perfect getaway! The place was spotless, the view was breathtaking and the host was incredibly accommodating. The cozy decor and peaceful neighbourhood made the stay feel like home.

We had a fantastic stay at Marine Drive Kigo. The location overlooked Lake Victoria with peaceful surroundings, away from the hustle and bustle of Kampala. The place matched the photos perfectly. Right next to the express highway made it easier to get around by car. Aquarius resort and Serena Kigo nearby for some relaxation. A nearby supermarket by mirembe villas. The caretaker Mr Andrew very very responsive at every point and cleaning staff were superb with fresh bedding every two days. We were very well looked after. Secure location , easy to find if you just notify people “Kigo gardens”. We were a party of 4, stayed for 10 nights. Really enjoyed our stay.

The place is nice with a beautiful view of Lake Victoria. The onsite construction is the only issue but Juliet explained it well before booking. Place is safe and secure. I would recommend anyone to book this place. It’s easy to reach Kampala and the airport using the Munyonyo bypass with no jam. Juliet is the best host and I will probably go back to this place. She is friendly including her family. I was home when I was living at Juliet’s place. Thanks for hosting me and thanks for the good hospitality. It’s not about doing business but you are indeed a great person to be around with!
