This is really beachfront with a short walk down the stairs. This place made me feel right at home with a real beach bach feel. I wish we could have stayed longer. Was also great to be able to bring our dog who is a member of our family along.

Super peaceful stay near Wainui Beach! It was a 5 minute walk to the local cafe and beautiful Wainui Beach. The accommodation was exactly like the photos. The place was beautifully clean and super cosy! We enjoyed seeing Sam’s 2 dogs each morning and our dog had fun exploring around the fruit trees. Sam was so friendly and helpful! Will recommend her place to anyone visiting Gizzy!

This is a cosy and homely bed-and-breakfast-type residence in a quiet suburban corner of Gisborne, about 5 minutes from the city centre. It’s a perfect home-away-from-home for the solo traveller and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The Air BnB is part of the family house, but has a private entrance and is self-contained with a separate bathroom and shower, plus a kitchenette stocked with breakfast essentials. The main room features a comfortable king-sized bed looking out through a bay window over a beautiful front garden. Nadine, the proprietor, was responsive and keen to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. A lovely stopover in Gisborne and the perfect place to rest and recover.

We had an amazing stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway, and we especially loved waking up early to catch the beautiful sunrise nearby. Our host was super responsive and kind, making the whole experience smooth and welcoming. We truly appreciated the thoughtful touches around the house and how peaceful the surroundings were. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. We’d love to come back again!

We have stayed at this property in the past and it fits a team of four really easy. As everything needed for staying and working away from home. Accommodation in Gisborne are excellent hosts. Nothing is an issue and they communicate really well and respond promptly. High recommend them as hosts.

Jeremy was a great host! Very welcoming and helpful with local recommendations! the location is ideal for beach goers and surfers. Jeremy was helpful to talk to about which places to surf considering the conditions! The bed was super comfy and the kitchen amenities were ideal, high quality and well thought out. I would recommend.

Great place to stay, gorgeous view n private (host can see your room but it doesn’t feel like they’re hovering over you). Driveway is steep but flat where you park n only a slight incline down the path to the room. Spa pool was empty so that was a little bit of a shame but it was summer n hot so, understandable. Would highly recommend this place!!!

We had a great time at this place. Kids absolutely loved the pool. The view of the green hills and farm animals just behind the backyard create a feeling of peace and tranquility, that we really needed. All shops and cafes are just 10 min driveaway. Natalie responded to communications promptly. The house was equipped with everything needed. Thank you Natalie.

Beautiful place to stay - easy to access, lovely and private and beautiful beds, furniture and amenities. Everything is thought through and exactly where you need it. The weather shifted during our week and the pods were super warm and cosy. Great family home for the week.

The apartment was very good, with a great view of Gisborne, everything was very clean. The hosts were super responsive to a water pressure problem in the shower, immediately calling a plumber to solve the issue. That's what a superhost is all about! 👍
