Monthly Rentals in Upper Plain

We stayed for a long weekend for a girls weekend and to do a long day walk on a Saturday. Beautiful spot to relax for a weekend or if you’re planning a hike around the area. The cottage had everything we needed and more and we definitely left feeling like we had a mini vacation! Richard was great at communicating and making sure our time spent at the cottage was wonderful. The pool was an absolute treat after our hike and the spa also to stargaze. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay with Naomi!!! Very clean, very comfy, & we felt right at home. It had everything we needed. Bonuses were: the shower pressure, comfy beds, & cosy lounge area. Thank you Naomi!!! :)

Jane was a warm, accommodating host who made our stay incredibly easy. She kindly allowed us an early check-in after we explained our situation. Her place was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable. If we ever need accommodation in Masterton again, we would definitely choose to stay with Jane.

We stayed at the cottage for 2 weeks visiting family in Masterton. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. The two bedrooms are very spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. There's an open plan lounge, diner, kitchen all beautifully furnished. We easily sat 7 round the table one night. It's a lovely old villa with original features and wonderful art works and quirky objects. Our 2 3/4 year old grandson was over the moon with the trainset, one of a big collection of games and toys. On fine days we loved sitting on the back verandah watching the birds flitting round and listening to birdsong. It was very peaceful. On Saturday mornings it's a short walk to the Solway Showgrounds for the Farmers Market. Joan and Michael are the perfect hosts, very quickly responsive to any queries. I'm so glad we got to meet them. This would be our first choice if we are back in Masterton.
