Great place, quiet, nice family. We were a little unlucky that people were eating and playing for a long time in front of our room, probably due to Ramadan. Can recommend it.

The stay with Bassou and his lovely family was very heartwarming. Their berber hospitality was at the top and that made the visit special. Despite the fact that we did not speak French and Berber and she did not speak English, there was a nice atmosphere and exchange with each other. The food was delicious and the rooms simple but fine. The village is focused on agriculture and the mountains. No tourism, but we thought that was the case👍🏻. The ordinary lives of people in the atlas. Bassou and his brother-in-law told about the search for meteorites and fossils. They also organize walks to the caves if you want. Our stay at marouano's was great, Driss the host on site was an amazing meeting, he is extremely kind and thoughtful, we felt at home and enjoyed chatting with him. He also took us on a stroll to discover the kasbah of imilchil and Lake Isli. HOWEVER, at the time of departure, Marouano insisted on us to pay €30per person (there were 5 of us) while on airbnb it was advertised at €35 for 5 people and without payment info on site. Also, Driss told us to dine at the hostel claiming that we could get sick elsewhere. He ordered us without us seeing the prices or knowing that he actually served us a flat entry menu for 160DH/people that we didn't want. Despite everything, we keep a good memory of it, thanks to the warm welcome from Driss and this great meeting. The hostel is impeccable on disability.
