Brilliant venue with lots to do for the children. Rooms were all good sizes, the kitchen was really well stocked and the games room and hot tub were perfect for the kids. A great find!

Perfect location for a relaxing break. Cosy, comfortable and welcoming. Excellent local places to eat and drink, great country walks on the doorstep and Montecute House (National Trust) just up the road.

Beautifully decorated , spotlessly clean cottage , well equipped and no list of rules which I loved !!! Very comfortable beds, great shower and the location was perfect. Two great local pubs and a very friendly post office. The location is heaven especially if you have a dog, the walks we found were some of the most beautiful we have seen and the locals are all willing to advise on where to walk. A must is the park in front of Montacute House, it’s free and probably has the best views of Montacute House without having to pay ! We also walked to Ham Hill across the fields and had a lovely lunch in the Prince of Wales. Dawn responded quickly to any messages and we felt very at home in the cottage.

Thank you for having us to stay. Our boys have said the chickens were the highlight of their stay! Much better than Stourhead! My father is busy working out how to keep chickens in his garden! Thank you too for the delicious breakfast selection and helpful signs around the house so be able to use the shower and make sense of the local recycling rules etc! Made for a relaxing stay! It was lovely to meet you and learn how to properly say Tintinhull too!
