We had four really lovely days at the summerhouse over the winter holidays. It's a super cozy house! Not too big, but still with nice space to be there with family. Admittedly, we were only two adults, but intend to return with our adult children and their boyfriends. We used the wilderness bath a few times, and it was very special to sit in the hot water while the wind was rushing around us and the moon lit up the sky ✨ The beach is a 5 minute walk from the house, and there is really very nice nature in the area. We've been here before and can only recommend it. We had family with us, and my aunt was shocked that you could just go in and feel at home. It should not be cleaned first, as she said she usually does when renting through rental agencies. And we can only give my aunt right. The place isn't missing anything, and Thurø is just a lovely and pretty place ❤️❤️❤️

If you are looking for a quiet corner and want to escape everyday life, you can come here and enjoy it. The water in the pool was wonderfully warm and in April. There were also a few toys. My children had a lot of fun and feel comfortable here. The animals on the farm were also hospitable 😊 Shopping is 5 minutes from the house. The hosts had a lot of patience with the kids and answered all the questions 😊 A sweet welcome basket was at the table. We always love a little attention to the guest. Thank you for this! What a lovely experience we had staying in Ritte's home for four nights. This is truly a home and full of personality, plants, decorative pieces and artwork (and very, very, clean). It felt like how Airbnb used to be, staying in a real home for an authentic experience. The living room, dining and kitchen are one great room with a lot of space to spread out. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, ideal for our family. My 5 and 7 year old daughters loved sleeping in the elevated bed, playing with legos and watching DVDs on the TV. The location is FAB, about a 10 minute walk to the brightly colored iconic beach huts, which by the way, you can see from the backyard! Going the opposite direction, about 10 minute walk into the heart of old town of Æroskobing. Tip if you have kids- there's a giant playground on the next property over (behind the greenhouse) that is part of a campsite. We enjoyed long dinners on on the patio while the summer sun lingered. Ritte was so kind and helpful.

They were beautiful days at the property. The area is also beautiful and the people very, very friendly! Unfortunately, it was a bit difficult to get into town from there. Unfortunately, the buses didn't run a few times, so you had to walk, or the taxi had to call. So definitely better if you have your own car with you! 🥰

Jytte’s farmhouse was perfect for our stay on Aero island! It is in a quiet, rural, gorgeous location centrally located to all of this beatiful island’s quaint villages, hiking and biking routes, and the many historical and natural attractions. The farm cottage is exceptionally well-equipped with all the amenities and supplies needed. It is the most spotlessly clean AirBnB we have ever experienced! Jytte was easy to communicate with, friendly, and helpful. We’ve travelled far and wide - Pedersminde on Aero Island is our new “favorite place” we’ve stayed at.
