We loved stopping at this village for the night. Such a darling location, and the property was very spacious and comfortable for our family.

I higly recommed the place. Owners are really helpful. House is really beautiful. Overall a nice experience.

Papingo is a beautiful little town and the unit was a perfect base for exploring the area. It was very comfortable for our family of 7. The WiFi was amazing (best so far in our travels in Greece). The cleaner was very helpful with our bags of laundry for a small additional charge. Although there is no air conditioning this unit stayed quite cool during the day and had screens so we could enjoy the lovely cool mountains air in the evenings. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance. You will need your own car to explore the area and make sure you bring all the supplies and food you will need because Papingo does not have a proper store if you need general supplies.

This house was absolutely perfect — even better than described! It’s much more spacious than it looks in the photos, and every detail exceeded our expectations. We travel often, and this has truly been the best place we’ve ever stayed. We spent two weeks here with our two young children, and it immediately felt like home. The house is spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly well-equipped. From the stunning view and fully stocked kitchen to the cozy, comfortable beds — everything was just perfect. The garden is also a dream, a peaceful and beautiful space to relax and enjoy. Maria is a fantastic host — warm, generous, and thoughtful. She welcomed us with open arms and made sure we had everything we needed and more. Her care and attention made our stay even more special. Highly, highly recommended!

Our stay was wonderful. The house is thoughtful and clean, in a quiet location very close to the city of Trikala. Warm and welcoming for 2 families, it is close to popular destinations such as Meteora, Elati, Karditsa, etc. In general we were satisfied except for the wifi that DOES NOT exist, while it is referred to as an amenity. In addition, while in communication through the platform, Mr. Panayiotis was direct in the responses, calls after checkin did not respond to repeated attempts. However, I highly recommend it to anyone who DOESN'T care about the internet/wifi.

It was close to Meteora and as comfortable as a typical Greek family home. The host's inspirational writings about travel enriched the trip. I was especially grateful for the friendly Greek snacks from the neighboring grandmother.

The place is spacious, very cozy and you can spend a few very relaxing days there. The national park, located a little to the north, is about half an hour away by car and there is an impressive cave in Ioannina. With a day trip you can also get to Meteora or Corfu from here.
