We'll meet at the Black Sand Box office or at the beach, best for the day. At the surfschool van we grab our gear and head out to a secluded area with plenty of great beginner waves. The lesson starts on the sand, where I’ll teach you surf techniques and the important things you need to know to be safe and successful at surfing. I’ll also cover local surf culture and etiquette so that you stay on the right side of your fellow surfers. When ready, we’ll paddle out and spend the rest of our time in the ocean, enjoying the Azorean waves! Before every lesson I look at the surf forecast and make sure it is safe for first timers. In this experience, we will have time to paint one of the objects, so choose which one you prefer. You'll start with a totally blank ceramic piece, and all the painting is done by hand in a traditional style—but the designs are diverse, ranging from really easy to a more professional level. In this cruise, you will sail till the best point to see the sunset, depending on the weather/sea/wind conditions it´s possible to swim in the ocean just before the sunset, from June to August. With our professional crew, you can also learn a little bit about the sailing process. It will be offered some snacks with regional products and white wine or other drinks ( not im 2021). We will meet for a safety and gear briefing were we will also show you what to expect on the tour. After we will practice some breathing techniques so you can be more confortable underwater. We will go for the best diving spot for that day to see as many local marine life as possible and enjoy being underwater. The activity will last around 3h always guided by an Instructor. After the tour you will log your dive session as you get certified as Basic Diver. Warm showers and some tea with cookies as we check the fishes we saw after the dive. Come jump off a cliff of emotions and feelings to know the wonders that Ribeira Grande can offer you! With me you will know the Salto do Cabrito trail, in this trail you will be able to join with nature, and the two become one, one body, one mind! I will show you all the fauna and flora that exist there, and you will be able to touch it and learn about its history! The main attraction of this trail is the cascade of the salto do cabrito, about 30 meters high and with its crystal clear waters, and of course you can bathe in it, but if you don't like crystal clear, cold water, we also have the thermal springs of the caldeiras, which can provide you with a powerful and relaxing recovery for your body with thermal waters. Along the way, mostly dirt road, we will see a dam, streams and even boilers, all surrounded by wonderful nature. This whole trail will be done on foot! In this trail we will include relaxation activities and interconnection with nature, to make the client free from the constant stress of life! The difficulty of the route is medium and it lasts about 3 hours. We will all return together and will be able to enjoy local food in a local restaurant.
