superb welcome, smile, kindness, a nice place with superb views for aperitivo and adaptability (breakfast prepared for our departure at 6:30 a.m.🥰). Close to shuttles for the slopes, perfect ski room. Excellent hostel address luxury version in an area where hotels are often unaffordable🤩, warm welcome and kindness as a bonus

Excellent place to stay in a very good location close to everything on foot. It's a very pleasant place that always makes you feel welcome, especially because of the guys at the front desk🙌🏻. Thank you very much for everything and we will see each other again in the future 👌🏻

Staff was very helpful. We arrived early and they held our luggage for us and kept it safe until we could check in, allowing us to go around to our excursions, stress/hassel free! The kitchen was also very clean and accessible and the views from the patio are astounding :)

Nice place, plenty of parking for car around (whole week on street 80€ in 2025, or 100€ in central zone), The People car park available for around 25€ per night as far as I remember. Localizacion in great place, couple of minutes by walk from closest Ski lift, pizza places, restaurants and Intersport. Walk through while village takes no more than 22minutes with really nice landscape around. Breakfast are nice and tasty, plenty of choice for everyone+ providing incredible opportunities to meet new friends and talk about same passion like ski or snowboard. In summary it's a great place to stay, and I will strongly recommend it to anybody who's looking for a great time on the slope and after.

I am in love with this Hostel. Andrea / Massimo is a great guy, relaxed and very friendly. The Hostel was very clean, the kitchen fully equipped with all the tools needed. Massimo provides plenty of food to help yourself for a donation. Perfect as there is no shop around. The location is perfect for hiking. Paths are well if they are not covered with snow (Visited in January). There is literally no mobile reception, but the Wifi appeared very stable. My dog was as welcome as I was. Grazie!

Booked this place for one night during a ski trip in Grindelwald. Parking was easy, easy to find the place and check in, and the receptionist gave a great restaurant recommendation nearby. Was clean, good facilities, had continental breakfast. Great for one night. There were 4 of us so had our own room and it wasn’t super busy when we went so pretty quiet, could hear the people talking in the room next to us pretty clearly when they did check in, but they respected the 10pm quiet hours. Seemed expensive for a hostel but relative to everything else in the area it was cheap so worth it for sure!

location is not the best, around 15 min walk from either the west or lost station.

We stayed two nights at this property and the experience was more than positive. Large double bedroom, clean and the bed was very comfortable. One morning we also had breakfast at their bar and the cake we tasted was really very good. Great location to walk to downtown and nearby there are many places for all tastes. The girls at the front desk were nice and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

Good place to stay. Low acoustic isolation from outside, single glas windows. Same goes for the oldstile wooden doors, one should be quiet in the room. Clean, no weird smells to percieve. I would come again.

the girl who made me the check in very kind, I give me information and useful description of the stay. They were flexible with entry and helped me with a lot of local recommendations

I had a great stay at Alplodge Hostel. The location is perfect, right by the river with stunning views of the mountains. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Check in and out was easy and quick. Highly recommend the stay.
