Our stay at Villa Eleftheria was absolutely magical! It was better than the photos and well worth every penny spent. We spent almost every day at the villa around the pool, using the BBQ area for lunch & dinners and loved our cocktail hours and evening games or wind down on the sofa area. The hosts recommended great chefs to come cook at Villa (HIGHLY RECOMMEND- they were amazing and excellently priced). We did a privatised boat day with - Chania boat tours which was incredible (highly recommend). The small village/town below the villa (5-8mins drive depending where you go) has everything you need, beach, mini market, restaurants, pharmacy, coffee shop, butcher & fish market, We were 7 ppl and stayed 6nights, the place was more than big enough. You definitely need a car to get around Crete, we did not explore many popular beaches (we loved the villa too much) but Chania Old town is only 30 mins drive away if you’d like more of a night out. We wish we could have stayed longer.

This is a magical villa set on the hills around Chania. The view is stunning from the snow-capped mountains to the crystal clear bays. The pool is amazing and overall the ambiance of staying in this villa is superb. We enjoyed outside dining, a firepit and early morning yoga and gym with the excellent facilities. Thank you.

A charming little house very central and close-to heaps of restaurants. It was very private- it felt like we had our own little neighbourhood to ourselves. Michalis and Guylaine were accommodating of our 11pm arrival! Meeting us in the street to ensure a smooth check in. It was so nice to stay in a place that embodies the history of the old town. The can’t church singing in the morning was magic.

It was one of the best places we stayed in Europe. The house has everything you need, from kitchen utensils to an outdoor table. Yannis is an amazing host and not only gave us heaps of recommendations but also received us with local food. We will never forget it! Thank you so much.

Everyone in our group agreed that this villa is the best we have ever stayed in. The villa was exactly as shown in the photos, if not better. It was spotlessly clean, had everything that we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The owner and manager were very helpful at all times and provided very good insights into local beaches and restaurants. I will definitely be going back to Crete and will use this villa every time. 10/10 and I highly recommend this villa.

I recently stayed at this beautiful villa in Greece, and it exceeded all my expectations! The property is stunning, with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and a fantastic pool that was perfect for cooling off during the hot days. The villa itself is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the bedrooms were cozy and inviting. I particularly loved spending time on the terrace, enjoying the serene views and the tranquil atmosphere. We visited in July 24 and our party comprised two families. Elizabeth was very helpful throughout the booking which was a valuable comfort. The house is two separate flats (upstairs and downstairs) which worked well for us. The property is generally nice and in good condition, but a little dated in terms of the furnishings. The games room (pool table and table tennis) was great for the kids and the pool area was also good. The property cleaning and pool maintenance was good. The rooms are air conditioned and this is needed in summer. It is located a short car hop from Plakias and other nearby beaches but probably too far to regularly walk in the summer heat. We really liked the area which was good value and full of options. We had a great holiday in the property!

It's impossible to complain about anything here. Fantastic place, gorgeous surroundings, easy to walk to the beach and restaurants and Efi was incredibly helpful, thoughtful and kind during our stay. The easiest 5 stars I've ever given

Fantastic Airbnb and host! Looks just like the photos and is part of a lovely, authentic square in Maza village. We were so impressed with the hosts who went out of their way to supply us with a baby cot. The Airbnb also came with things like coffee, tea etc which was a lovely touch. Highly recommend!

It was all great, absolutely clean and the apartment spacious and comfortable! In a very nice spot by the beach and the hosts absolutely friendly and kind, I highly recommend it!

Gabrielle is an exceptional host. She was able to give advice on the area so that we could make the most of our stay. Always attentive to ensure that our family lacks nothing (toys for children, adapted bed, etc.). I would recommend the accommodation, it is comfortable and in a peaceful location in the heart of a small village.

We loved Ioannis’s apartment it was great as it is very local also walkable into Chania ( takes about 25 minutes) there are local buses which regularly go up and down into the town ,2 euros , also we got the electric bus which is free The apartment is huge with the massive terrace all around the roof gets some fabulous sunsets it has all amenities needed and a well stocked kitchen There are a lot of stairs which might not be for everybody but we classed them as exercise after eating all the delicious pasties The area and the local people are very warm and friendly I would fully recommend this apartment to anyone Thank you Ioannis Kim and Ron

It was a really nice appartment overall. clean & functional. However, keep in mind that if you are traveling with a baby, the floor is very cold (stone tiles) with no heating option.

Lovely airconditioned apartment at a great location. The apartment has everything you need for your vacation (including an ironing board, dishwasher, etc.). It is located on the third floor and can be reached with an elevator. The beach and some great restaurants are just around the corner (5 minute walk). You can walk to the city center in 15 minutes. In the street there are several super markets and bakeries. Hans is a great and responsive host. He proactively gave good advice for nearby restaurants, beaches, etc.

Peaceful, comfortable place to stay, in a lovely setting. Evangelia was welcoming and responsive and helpful. I loved sitting out on the balcony listening to the birds and cicadas
