It’s a nice place hidden just near the town area but peaceful and felt like home away from home. All the essentials for a short stay is there and surprisingly water dispenser with a full bottle was ready to use. Thank you very much for the comfortable stay.

My family and I had a short but great stay! The host is proactive, helpful and friendly and gave us a lot of helpful recommendations. It’s very close to all the historical and religious sights which proved very useful too. Thank you Anasuya, we’ll definitely be back!

This is a private independent house, the host lives on the first floor, the guest lives on the second floor, spacious and bright, quiet at night. The location provided by the host is inaccurate, we could only get to the outside street, we called a second tuk tuk, after checking in we checked the map, there is a “Leisure Stay” location which is very accurate, looking at the picture, this is the B&B, it is recommended to use this navigation, simple and clear. The Host is a nice couple. They helped me find out about the bus to Trincomalee the day I left, called a tuk tuk, and gave me a sandwich. But the charter driver he recommended was no good. The driver himself was fine, but he lacked the ability to accompany foreign guests. He couldn't understand basic English place names or requests, and couldn't find famous attractions. He asked while walking. The ticket office in Dambulla was not at the Golden Temple gate. He didn't know, so I had to walk a long way to find the ticket office. The car is also in poor condition, and the air conditioning is insufficient. We went to four attractions that day: Pidurang Cave, Lion Rock, Dambulla Cave Temple, and the Okana Buddha statue, and the charge was 25,000 yuan. I hope the host can recommend a better driver. All in all, the B&B itself is pretty good, I recommend staying here.

Stayed between 15-18th of April 2025. This is the second time I visited this property. Absolutely a gem of place to relax and unwind. The location is full of nature only the sound of the birds can be heard. The views are stunning with a beautiful lake in front and a large paddy field. An unspoilt village to show children how the rural village life goes about. There are plenty of bicycle for the guests to use FoC and Can take a bicycle ride across the village and on the bundt of the lakes in and around and enjoy the picturesque views of the lakes and the Galkiriyagama rock that spans for 7kms. During the night only the sound of nature you can hear. In the evening a dip in the lake with the villages is not to be missed. The property is very clearly kept. The food is absolutely tasty and made in a kitchen cleanly kept. Ideal place to enjoy traditional Sri Lankan Rice and Curry and other Sri Lankan food. A place definitely you want to revisit over and over again. Great value for money.

This property is absolutely stunning, the photos don't do it justice. Shenal was incredibly responsive and provided clear instructions for getting there and checking in. Would recommend staying at least a couple nights to fully enjoy this place

Nayan's villa is even more beautiful than on the photos! The view over the beach and palmtrees is fantastic and the pool water is warm enough at all times of the day. We appreciated the various outdoor seating spaces as well as inside under the fan. It's very quiet & private apart from occasional fishermen trucks working on the beach. We have also really enjoyed the caretaker Martinez who tended to our needs every day, including bringing us coconut. We also made use of Pradeep's cooking and enjoyed having local food delivered every day to us to the villa. There was also lots of attention to detail, including beautiful flowers around the house and a fresh water tank, so that we wouldn't have to buy water in advance. Shower gel and shampoo was provided. We experienced a power cut once in the week we stayed for around 4hrs. Battery powered lamps and fans are provided for this case. Thank you Nayan, Martinez and Pradeep for a fantastic holiday! We can definitely recommend this place!

Devika was an exceptional host—warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. Finding the place was easy, and from the moment we arrived, she made us feel right at home. The space was spotless and had a cozy, homely vibe that we truly appreciated. Devika went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, even providing refreshments on arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. She was always available whenever we needed her, yet gave us plenty of space to relax. Staying at her place truly enriched our visit to the ancient city of Anuradhapura, and we’re so glad we chose to stay with her. We would absolutely recommend her place and hope to return in the future!

Elite Holiday Home is great base to go and explore Anuradhapura. The apartment is set in a leafy quiet suburb. It has two bedrooms with two large comfortable beds in each room with A/C and ensuite. The owners during our stay were always available, friendly, and very helpful as they helped arrange a driver to take us around the ancient city.

We have travelled to many places in the world and in Sri Lanka, this was one of the best. Query, peaceful and really friendly staff. The pool was one of the best we have swam in in Sri Lanka. Evening dinner and breakfast was great. They organised tours and drivers for us. We were with two kids aged six and eight and it was fantastic. They are building a few more treehouses but only a few. In a year or two this place will up there with the more well known boutique places on the island. Highly recommended!!! Joe and family
