Monthly Rentals in Port Askaig

Really lovely place. Stunning views, very comfortable and only a few minutes from the ferry terminal which was super handy. We travelled with a 14 month old and Mairi’s place was great - all on one level so no need to worry about stair gates and they’d kindly put some great kids toys and cutlery out for us which was so thoughtful. And had a cot and high chair all ready for us. Would recommend to anyone travelling to Islay.

Nice situation, very clean and comfortable!

We had a fantastic stay at Persabus cottage. It is incredibly well located (we had a car) and the surroundings were beautiful. We also loved the pottery and bought a few items as gifts. Donald’s suggestions of places to visit and eat were fantastic and much appreciated!

5 stars across the board! This place is magical if you’re looking for a get away from the hustle and bustle of life and instead listen to the birds and enjoy time in nature. The chickens and hens were welcome company, they’re so sweet and greet you when you pull up. I stayed here April 2025 and happened to luck out with the weather, which was fabulous. Lochgilphead is close by, as is the gorgeous Ardfern which you can easily get to in less than 30 minutes. Also, you can do a day trip to the isle of Arran based from here, which is an added bonus. Peter and Anna were very accommodating and you can tell that they love their place. It was very clean and comfortable, I can’t wait to return. Natasha
