Spear Creek Beach House

JohnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great beach property, very quiet, great views from most windows, cracker views when on upper deck (upstairs), lovely verandahs on both west and east sides - needed in that part of the world. Note that one of the bedrooms with queen bed is only accessible via stairs from outside, the other two are in the main house part. It's an older place that has been renovated; great kitchen (reno), lots of utensils, pots etc, cracker fridge, big TVs everywhere.
The exterior of the cottage is displayed, featuring a stone facade and a wide verandah with a wooden table and chairs. Surrounding greenery and trees contribute to the natural setting. The landscape includes a well-maintained lawn and a pathway leading to the entrance.

Point Lowly Cottages - #1 Lowly

AmyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Lovely historical lighthouse cottage that has been newly renovated with updated bathrooms/kitchen/living. We, and our young child and dog loved our stay. Point lowly is isolated but note there are quite a few visitors during the day for fishing and sightseeing. This is also one of two cottages side by side. The house was impeccably clean with a well equipped kitchen. Parents of young choldre note there is no bath (two showers) and I imagine it could be quite chilly in the bedrooms in winter. There is one oil column heater. and well stocked with quilts and blankets (byo linen though). The close by beaches are mostly rocky. Dog owners note that the outdoor area is not entirely fenced.
A scenic viewpoint features multiple benches arranged to overlook a vast and calm body of water. The shoreline is visible, with gentle waves lapping against the sandy beach. A clear sky enhances the tranquil atmosphere, and well-maintained paths lead toward the water.
