Very clean (absolutely no dust anywhere) great location, spacious, stunning views, private and very quiet. Very sweet hosts who clearly enjoy running their Airbnb apartment above their house. Lovely outdoor kitchen which was very tidy. A couple of things to note, when driving to the apartment Google Maps takes you down a road that's closed and full of JCBs etc. so a word of warning to go round the town and in from the other side would have been good. The decor is quite old fashioned (this is in no way a negative, it's just more so than appears on photos) with lots of china dolls through the apartment. It adds character and is very Slovenian and authentic. Again no massive issue but slightly unexpected. You get used to them watching you sleep after a while. Overall tho it's a great apartment and we'd really recommend anyone to stay here.

The place was very nice, clean and cozy, you felt right at home. There is a small kitchen in the property itself and also a larger communal kitchen and a terrace in the garden. And the hosts were incredibly friendly. They gave us many tips for activities, told us a lot about Slovenia and also invited us for breakfast one morning. We will be happy to visit this property again on our next trip through Slovenia.

It’s a great location, walking distance from the city center. I would recommend it as Tea is very reactive and helpful in her communication as well.

Sabina’s house is truly luxurious! From the moment we arrived, her hospitality was exceptional, making our stay comfortable. Her home was spotless, and the spa area was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The kitchen is a chef’s dream, fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The beds are comfortable, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. On our second night, we experienced a heavy snowfall, and Sabina went above and beyond by bringing over a snow plow to clear the path for our car frequently! Every detail, big or small, was appreciated and made our stay even more special. Thank you, Sabina, for welcoming us so warmly into your home. We’ll definitely be back with more guests!

Wow! This Airbnb is just stunning and Nina has thought of everything a person could possibly need. The place is super clean and tidy, the furniture is beautiful and the house smells divine. I highly recommend Nina’s place. It is also a short drive from the centre.

We had some wonderful days in Polpona's nice apartment, located right in the old town just below the mountain where the castle is located. (the walk back way was you just the cable car up to the castle) The house was old and charming and the apartment completely newly renovated and fresh with everything you could imagine and a little more. Polona is a very thoughtful and thorough host so there were instructions on how to use everything 🤗 When we return to Ljubliana - which we absolutely want - so hope this home is available! Simon was a great host. He arranged for us to eat a delicious meal of local cuisine, with family-made sausages and garden vegetables. We learned about the history of the area, and grew to appreciate his whole family. We felt so much at home! We highly recommend staying at Miranda's Bar, where hospitality has been at the highest standard for five generations. The beds were comfortable, and rooms were spacious. The village of Pivka is quiet and picturesque, and near to the cave and castle attractions. We want to come back!
