Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Ouder-Amstel

We were a group of 9 people for my sister's bachelorette party. We were received super and even though the owner's house was right next door, we had our space to ourselves. It's a beautiful area there. If you want to stay in the area, it's perfect. For a trip to Amsterdam, it's a bit awkward by public transport, but it was possible. You have to plan at least 1 hour. But overall we were very, very satisfied and can highly recommend the accommodation! It was wonderful and nice, thank☺️ you very much!

Wow! Our stay at Jeroen's place in Amsterdam was absolutely fantastic! 🌷🇳🇱 This spacious home is a true gem with its sunny patio and abundance of natural light. The comfortable living area and fully equipped kitchen (complete with full-size washer and dryer upstairs) made us feel right at home. Just a heads up - there are quite a few stairs, which adds to the charm but might be challenging for some. Jeroen is an exceptional host who's quick to respond and full of amazing recommendations for restaurants and activities. The location is perfect - just outside downtown Amsterdam, steps away from great restaurants, and a short 3-minute walk to a large grocery store and shops. Getting around was a breeze with convenient access to tram 19 and the metro. Pro tip: We used the Bolt app for car service - excellent and way more budget-friendly than regular taxis! This beautiful area was the ideal base for our daily adventures. As four older women traveling, feeling safe was top of mind.

Very nice place in good neighbourhood

Sabrine was a great host. Her place was exactly what we were looking for. We are a family of four. The accommodations were better than expected. The place is stocked well with coffee and pretty much anything you can think of if you prefer to make your own meals. We are very happy, and will definitely come back. Thanks!

Our week end at Mickey’s was very nice. The house is very spacious and peaceful. We loved the big windows and the garden. We also enjoyed some trips to Amsterdam even if it is better to go by car rather than with public transport which are longer. The rooms and bathrooms were perfect (we were a group of 8 friends including 2 couples). Mickey was even available on during the week in case we needed some help or just to answer to our questions. There is a supermarket really close to the house (5 min by walk) which is also really helpful!

We had 4 very nice days in the idyllic surroundings and the very nice house. There were five of us there and we had a dog with us too. Everything was a great fit. Going to the cottage and exploring the area was also really fun. We would definitely love to come back again. Best regards and thank you. Winkler family

We are 3 friends, wanting to stay just outside of Amsterdam. the neighbourhood felt safe and public transport was so easy (& regular) to get into the centre. We also cycled and left our bikes in the front garden which wasn't a problem. The house is comfy and quirky. The stairs are not for the faint hearted however!! Thank you Maja for a warm welcome and a lovely stay x

The houseboat was great and you couldn’t ask for a better host. Grace was very responsive whenever we had a question and was very understanding when a little mishap occurred. Hope to be back some day!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house is exactly as shown in the photos – spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The surroundings are calm and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax. Near the center (the public transportation is a 5 minute walk away) The host was fantastic: very kind, super communicative, and always available if we needed anything. Everything was clearly explained, and he made sure we had access to all the amenities. This place is truly a hidden gem – the quality you get for the price is outstanding. Excellent stay for 2 families. The garden with the lake view is just magical. Very quiet. In the countryside and yet close to shops and restaurants. Thanks for lending us the bikes and the boat. It was great to get around on the water. The area is beautiful and within reasonable distance of different cities to visit. Floris is a thoughtful host (Easter decoration, welcome gifts, etc.) and responded to our messages within the day. The house was very spacious and very clean. Authentic charm of an old farmhouse. Thanks for this real break.

We had a great time at Arjen's place. The house is very nice, very beautifully decorated, in a quiet area, ideal for a family of 4. Very nice very well equipped kitchen. The parking space is a real plus knowing that then you can go to the center of Amsterdam in 20 minutes thanks to the nearby tram station. The house must be very nice in summer with the terrace by the water. We hope to return and recommend this rental 100%!

Nico was incredibly friendly and the house was exactly how it looked in the photos. Very easy access to the sprinter train to get to downtown Amsterdam. Highly recommend!

Harold's cozy houseboat is ideal for a few days' stay in Amsterdam. By public transport you are super fast in the city center! The houseboat is cozily furnished and it's a little adventure to stay in if you're not used to it. Harold is very friendly and even gave us a fruit basket and a bottle of wine to welcome us!

Our host was incredibly nice and reactive. We definitely recommend her and her amazing house on the lac. The views and nature are stunning. We had so many beautiful activities (boat with a licence, free kayac, Gouda visits and museum, walks and bykes, restaurants). Clearly I have fallen in love with the region

Anne's place is well located - helpfully very close to a supermarket and easy enough to get into the centre of Amsterdam via train and bike. We also found a vet super close. It's a beautiful home and Anne is very responsive.

We stayed one night at Jenny's place. The accommodation is very nice, clean and well presented. It's welcoming and looks like the photos. We took our little cat there who liked it right away. Jenny is very responsive and the instructions are very clear and well communicated. Too bad about the work in front of the accommodation, but it's not his responsibility! It was great, very soothing and relaxing. Close to everything, super convenient. Recommended if you want to enjoy the surroundings!

The apartment is very cool. It was perfect. The only thing is that it's a bit far from downtown Amsterdam and it's not that easy to get there by public transport, but the area is very quiet.

Beautiful chalet and surrounding area, very quiet and peaceful, we had a lovely stay!

It was a great stay at a hotel. We especially enjoyed the free access to the laundry services. There was an incident where the adjacent room flooded which resulted in the floor of our room becoming drenched and some of our belongings becoming wet… But thankfully the staff moved us to another room very quickly. And we assume we were just unlucky. There was about a 15 minute walk to the closest tram stop but it was not too bad.
