Daniel's house was an amazing place to stay, very quiet and secluded, perfect for a peaceful rest but also easy to get into the city if needed, we used the train from Södertälje. Daniel was very helpful throughout the trip. The islands and scenery in this area are fantastic. A very cosy, comfortable house to stay in.

Some of our favorite things regarding our stay was the well-equipped kitchen which made cooking a joy, the high-quality beds and furniture around the house and the peaceful outdoor spaces where we could relax and take in the stunning surroundings. The communication with the host was excellent—they were responsive, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. This retreat is perfect for anyone seeking a tranquil escape. We can't recommend it enough and can’t wait to return for a longer stay next summer!

Maria was an amazing host, the communication was impeccable and respond rates really quick. The flat was really nice and warming, and anything we needed Maria attended to such as an iron and medication. Very appreciative for all the recommendations to certain bars and areas of Stockholm. We had a lovely two week stay at Johan’s charming house. We loved waking up to the views of the lake and trees, and starting our days with the most beautiful walks around the lake. It is a wonderful place to retreat, peaceful and surrounded by nature, but only a 25 minute drive to Stockholm. Johan was very helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again!

Great house in a nice, quiet location! The house was very clean, and it was easy to communicate with Alex and Emma. We enjoyed evening swims at the nearby dock. We also enjoyed swimming and kayaking at Solviksbadet a few tram stops away. We greatly appreciated that Alex and Emma had removed some of their stuff, so there were plenty of drawers and closet space available. Thank you for being such terrific hosts!

Fabulous house, beautifully restored and decorated. Great location by the water to watch the boats go by and for a morning swim :) Very well equipped kitchen. Börje is a great host, greeted us at check-in and took time to explain everything. Always quick to respond to messages.

There were nine of us and there was plenty of room and sleeping options. There was everything needed to cook and there was a great barbecue. The house has become well warm, especially with the fireplace. Highly recommended for a holiday with several people. We had a fantastic time and thank you for the accommodation.

We had such a lovely stay. The house and garden are wonderfully designed and comfortable. Being able to have all the space but just 20 minutes away from central Stockholm was great. Nikolina was so helpful and really responsive when we messaged her with questions both before and during our stay. We would thoroughly recommend!

Amazing villa with a long and literally colorful past. It is beautifully renovated and very well equipped. Swimming in the sea is a bit of an adventure but there is always the heated pool for the not-so-daring. The location is perfect - just 15 Minutes by car to the heart of Stockholm but still in the middle of wild nature. Simon gave us a very warm welcome and was always available for questions.

The house is fantastic and Storholmen is a lovely place. We used the terrace by the beach a lot and the house has everything you need. We had three children with us and they also had a lovely holiday. However, you should be aware that you have to take everything with you as you can't buy anything on the island, but parking at Mama Annas Brygga works perfectly. The only thing we were missing was the evening sun.

I recently stayed here with 3 friends and we had a great time at this beautiful house. The house is very tastefully decorated, clean and well equipped. One of our group stayed in the garden room which is also very comfortable. Daniel and Tess were responsive to our messages and very helpful, checking that the house was warm enough and giving information about transport links and suggesting places for us to visit. On arrival we were greeted by the local cat who was also very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay! 😊
