We also have wines here, of course We will have lunch at my family estate, where my wife will cook a homemade lunch. At my wine estate we have many more surprises, including opening a bottle of Port Wine over the fire, a unique event.

If just arrived in town this is a perfect introduction to the Portuguese gastronomy, the essentials of Porto and the local culture! We will live to the rhythm of the city and we will eat where the citizens of Porto used to go, away from the ultra tourist sites. More than a tour, we will live several experiences in the same morning/afternoon! We will go to an iconic cafe where we will have an authentic breakfast as the Portuguese do. After that we will discover Porto's old stores and taste their fresh products, visit an emblematic market where we will sit to eat Iberian ham, seafood, cheese and wine from the Northern region of the country. We will continue this fantastic adventure having a local lunch with obviously one of the most typical dish of Porto with drinks included in a bar / restaurant well appreciated by the inhabitants of our beloved city. We will be visiting 5 spots in total. All the places we go are traditional businesses and you will enjoy it like a "Tripeiro" (people of Porto). Emblematic monuments of the city as the Liberdade square, the Mercado do Bolhão, delicious food and drinks, everything is included in the price ! The experience begins by picking you up at your hotel in Peso da Régua, Lamego , Vila Real or in a meeting point in the Douro valley ; In case you are staying in Porto , please contact us before you make a reservation ,the price for this experience doesn’t include Pick up in Porto , we can organize but that is charged as an extra service ; We also suggest coming with the train till Régua, the views are beautiful ; Our first visit is to São Leonardo, a viewpoint of indescribable beauty in the Douro Valley ; After that, we will visit a family estate / winery Quinta there, we will taste very high quality wines. Port wine, table wines (white/red) and olive oil. For lunch we will go to an amazing local restaurant a place with very tasty food ; After lunch, we head towards Pinhão along the EN222 road, which in 2015 was considered the most beautiful road in the world. 14:30 - 16:00 - In Folgosa do Douro we will visit a Winery (Quinta) with breathtaking views and taste table wines (red) and Port Wine; 16:30 - 17:30 - After this visit we will go to Porto do Pinhão to take a 1 hour Rabelo boat cruise on the Douro River. We’ll let ourselves be immersed in all that it has to offer, from huge waterfalls, stunning viewpoints, pasture animals with their shepherds and abandoned shelter huts. At the end of it there will be a lagoon with crystal clear emerald waters to stop to relax and, if you wish, also swim. Explore the countryside of Northern Portugal in a 4x4 car without worrying about time logistics or transportation during this half-day excursion in the mountains of Parque das Serras do Porto. In the company of a local guide and driver, stop at more places than you could alone, including Roman mines, panoramic overlooks, swings, Rivers, stone village with about 10 inhabitants, enjoy local fauna and flora by rammed earth trails in the comfort of a 4x4 car where we will make several stops for small walks to discover the secrets of the Mountain

Leave the meeting point around 10:00 am and start our tour to the viewpoint of Pedra Bela, where we can enjoy the view over the village of Gerês. (15 min) We continue our trip to the next stop - Cascata do Arado, where we will explore the various waterfalls and lagoons. (1 hour and 15min). The next stop will be at a small village called Ermida, where we can enjoy the view over the village and the surrounding area. (15 min). Afterwards, we'll head to the village of Fafião, where we'll have lunch at a traditional restaurant. (1 hour and 15 minutes). After lunch, we take a short walk to an incredible viewpoint, where we can see other fantastic landscapes in the heart of the rocky mountains of Gerês. (30 min). Head to the next village of Pincães, where we will take a short walk of about 15 minutes to see a wonderful waterfall (1 hour and 15 minutes). We will return to Fafião and explore the natural lagoons near the bridge (40 min). After that, we head to one of the most famous places in the Park, Cachoeira Fecha de Barjas, known to everyone as Cachoeira do Tahiti (45 min). Then, we will return to the meeting point to enjoy the sunset over the mountains. It is possible to dive and swim in all these places. Other remarks This experience must have a minimum of 2 people to carry out (1 person can do the experience for a fee extra 60 euros on the day.

In this experience, you will visit the unparalleled DOURO VALLEY, the first-denominated wine region in the world and a world heritage site by UNESCO. The day starts at our meeting point and then we will be heading to the Valley. For the drive we will do a loop around the valley to better see and enjoy all the different landscapes, first driving through the N323 with all the astonishing viewpoints of the valley and where we have the first stop, a small winery from a local producer to try his regular wines (reds and whites from the region) and olive oil. The second stop is at Pinhão for a typical Portuguese lunch at a local tavern with great options for Vegans and Vegetarians. Still in Pinhão, we have a 1-hour mini-cruise in a typical Rabelo boat along the astonishing Douro River with the Valley as a background view (the boat cruise is shared with other groups). The journey will continue through the National Road 222, one of the most iconic roads in Portugal, winner of the "World's Best Driving Road Award", which will take us to the second winery for more tasting, parings and story tales from the wineries owners. After that, we will return to Porto and arrive to Porto at around 6:00 PM.
