We stayed with 2 adults and 6 children (5-2 years old). It was a renovated, very stylish, and relaxing space. We were not going to make it to the accommodation until later in the evening. We let the host know and they were very responsive and understanding. Given the directions from the host and using Google maps, it was very easy to find even in the dark. The house was very clean and seemed to be recently updated. Western toilet and in ground bathtub were a plus. We didn't stay long but we definitely enjoyed it!

The apartment is very closed to bus stop to Sendai station and the bus only takes less than 25 mins traveling time. Walking to restaurants and subway is not too far away, around 15 - 17 mins. Takashi also provides parking so it is very convenient to most travellers. I will definitely going back in my future trips.

Kazue-san was very nice! She even helped me plan a schedule to let me have the most fun possible in the limited time I was there. The room was filled with life, like a room you'd actually live in, and everything is very very clean and comfortable, feels like coming back to your own room back in your family home. The futon was very soft, smells nice, and very clean, probably the best bed I've ever slept in. She also prepared a delicious apple juice from her own farm, and prepared a warm, hearty breakfast for me in the cold morning. The bathroom is also very clean, and are arranged in the traditional Japanese style with a changing room, washing area, and bathtub. The toilet is a modern one like the ones you can find in Tokyo. If I go there again I will definitely be staying a lot longer!
