Villa vacation rentals in Moorea-Maiao

We loved our stay. The place is situated in such a special spot. It’s close to the reef break so we’re able to see plenty of whales while still able to enjoy the beach and lagoon. The house is so well curated with local art and has such a special feel to it. It’s feels more like a home with all the beautiful artwork and small touches than a cold hotel with or typical air b&b which we really appreciated. We have been to Moorea several times and will return again and hope to stay here again. The pool and view are wonderful additions to the already spectacular property.

A big thank you to Joselita for her 5-star welcome! Small touches, drinks and above all a lot of kindness. The house is amazing in terms of its size, setting and amenities. As far as cleanliness is concerned, I've never seen anything like it. Everything was spotless! In short, one of our best experiences on this site. But don't go there without so much as a second thought because the setting is splendid!

It is the perfect place to find peace and quiet. Very simple and open, beautiful well kept garden with a refreshing pool overlooking the beach, where you can also swim freely and enjoy the tranquil ocean as well as the beautiful sunsets. We loved staying there and look forward to going back!

It was really easy to communicate. We had everything we needed. Rooms are great, bathrooms are large. Everything was clean. Perfect!

Very nice stay with friends. Very large house and large garden, access to the sea is superb and well equipped with outdoor shower, deckchairs, table and chairs. It is absolutely gorgeous accommodation in very quite and safe area. It is very close to bunch of good restaurants. Grocery store just across street. Villa itself is very spacious, with a big living space, outdoor space and deck. Bathrooms are big and well remodeled. Beds are comfortable. You can jump in the ocean right from the deck. Lagoon has shallow part, suitable for small kids, coral reef where you can snorkel and more deep area behind reef where you can paddle a kayak. Kitchen is relatively small, but sufficient and has everything you need to cook. Hosts are very friendly and easy going. Later check out was not a problem. We will definitely try to rent this palace again if we return on Moorea.

We loved staying at Roxanne’s house. The house is perfect for kids. The pool is great, and the town is cute - no tourists at all. Felt very local and authentic. It was very convenient to have a tv for the kids when they had too much sun shine. Only negative was the power that cut out. Wasn’t a big deal to us, but something to be aware of. The power couldn’t handle the AC and oven on at the same time, so we stopped cooking. Roxanne was however super helpful on this issue and sent a guy all the way from the other end of the island to help us. We had a great time at the house and would come back. We missed the cat Roulette a lot after leaving. He’s the cutest roommate and he was very nice to our 1 year old.

What an oasis! We loved staying at this beautiful place in the hills with views of Moorea. They were so helpful during our stay. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this place to anyone! The infinity pool, terrace, views - all magical!

Amazing stay with flexible and communicative host!

This is a fantastic house for families. The pool and games room will keep the kids (and adults) entertained for hours. Villa has a beautiful view and has a kind breeze. You won’t be disappointed. I have added this property to my favorites in Tahiti and would definitely recommend. Many thanks Christophe and his team 🙏

Amazing location, amazing house right on the water with access to ocean right out your backdoor, great AC in bedrooms, peaceful yet walking distance to stores and restaurants. Caroline was exceptional with assisting with planning activities while we stayed there. Would highly recommend this place!

Beautiful villa looking over serene treetops and ocean. Perfect home base for a week of fun and relaxation. Enere and his family took care of our needs graciously from beginning to end. Highly recommend!

Phillippe's house in Puna'auia is heaven on earth! From arrival to departure, we felt so lucky to be in such a beautiful location. The home is large and comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with supplies (and extras! Phillippe provided a few items to get us started) and the location is perfect. We arrived on a very late flight, and Phillippe was there to greet us when we arrived. It was a little tricky to find the house, because the addresses on Tahiti aren't super obvious and it was dark, but once we did, we were fine. The bedrooms are comfortable and air conditioned, with a separate bathroom for each bedroom. The kitchen and living area inside were great - with a smart TV, so we could log in to our own Netflix account. The BEST PART of the whole place though, is the lanai at the back of the yard on a ridge overlooking the lagoon with a view of Moorea. We were able to kayak and snorkel directly from the back yard, and had breakfast every morning at the large table there.

Had an AMAZING week-end at Paparadise! The spot is peaceful and the house was just perfect! Alain is an amazing host and was so helpful. I recommend it without any hesitation!

Enjoy Villa was exactly as described. The villa was beautifully maintained and the pictures are spot on. The villa was walkable to the local market and a few restaurants. We were also just a 3 minute walk to a rental car place that we used to take a ride around the island. If you're looking for a beautiful villa right next to the water and walking distance to everything you need and want this is the place for you.

We loved our stay at Karine and Steve’s place. Karine was very helpful with check in and extremely responsive and friendly. We felt at home with their neighboring families, and friendly pups that greeted us each day. Steve was extremely helpful to us, taught us lots about the island, took us to the store and the ferry and brought us fresh fruit from the family plantation every day. He is a new friend for us and we enjoyed visiting with him. We felt safe and never worried about locking up because everyone around the house looked after things. The backyard by the pool is spacious for lounging, beautiful, quiet and private. There are lots of roosters around that crow early but you get used to it and we had our bedroom door closed with the fan while sleeping so it did not bother us at all. There are quite a few shops and restaurants close by that you can walk to, but I also recommend getting a car and touring the whole island. I highly recommend this place for your stay.

This has been my favorite Airbnb ever. Anyone that’s reading this review please book one extra day only to hang out at the place. It is amazing. Come bring some groceries to cook a beautiful meal with the view. Honestly plan on one full day without leaving. This Airbnb is the Jewel of the island.

We had an amazing time at Yann's place. It's well worth the road up Mahinarama - as my dad commented: "we are in paradise!". The house is very spacious and could accommodate a large group without a problem. It was just the four of us and we felt like royalty in this beautiful villa. You can tell this house was lived in and loved well before it became a rental. The kitchen is super functional and has everything you need to cook a great meal. The bedrooms are very comfortable. There's a game room that the kids (and adults, too) loved. The pool is the cherry on the (already amazing) cake. And the view over the Pacific is breathtaking. We are glad we stayed in this little piece of paradise. Mauruuru roa, Yann!

We had a great time at Corinne’s house. The views were stunning, the pool was really nice for cooling off and the shaded seating area a great place to relax, eat, etc. the house had everything we needed. The freshly made banana bread on arrival was a really lovely touch to an overall wonderful experience. Thank you Corinne.

We spent two days in a peaceful and rejuvenating setting, nestled on the heights of Puunui. The setting was quiet, ventilated, and conducive to relaxation. A true haven of peace, perfect for reconnecting and enjoying the serenity of the place. Mauruuru!

Our stay at Emmanuel and Lydia’s place was exceptional. Emmanuel greeted us at the airport with leis and we followed him back to his home where we met Lydia. The fridge was stocked with treats, fruit, cake, and breakfast. They were even kind enough to bring us bread and croissants from the bakery down the street. They were very helpful with recommendations for activities and restaurants. The view from the home is breathtaking. The pool is refreshing on a hot day. The location was perfect for short day trips. We recommend staying at Emmanuel and Lydia’s place. You won’t regret it.

My family of four stayed here with two very young kids over a weekend. We loved this house, the pool, amenities and the view. Felt very peaceful here, the design reminds us a lot of Bali, and furnishing and design materials are well crafted with local wood. We would love to have a house just like this one day.
