The host is so nice. He pick up us when we check in late, and prepared fruit, water and juice. We have three person, and we got one more mattress. Room is clean and you can find all thing you need

Nicky was amazing in communicating, especially during such an uncertain time, and really kind in leaving us with tea, milk, showering products, games, and lots of useful information for the area. As we were visiting a friend in Leith, the location was perfect - but also really easy to get into the centre of Edinburgh, or a 40 minute walk or so to Portobello beach. Her daughter checked us in and was very kind and helpful. The flat itself is lovely, a really spacious living room area, comfortable bedrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen with a washing machine. Would definitely recommend, and if we return to Leith would love to come back here again!

Had a great stay at Ben’s place! He was easy to reach and very friendly, the flat matched the description, and was very clean. It is not super central but it’s a pleasant walk there and the neighbourhood is lovely and quiet.

Thank you for a comfortable stay in a characterful place where people actually live! You can experience a unique piece of history and see a colony flat from the inside with the original layout and exterior. As a bonus, an actual artisan lives (Paul Isaacs, watercolour artist) in the property which gives it extra authenticity. The location is walkable to the main attractions, Edinburgh Mile etc, without being too close to noisy nightlife. I had a wonderful stay and wish I could have stayed in Edinburgh longer. Staying with chill and accommodating hosts definitely helped me to fall in love with Edinburgh!

loved my stay, incredible hosts so hospitable and welcoming. the room is quite spacious and everything is very clean. the flat is located in a very quiet area and great location close to holyrood park and quick walk to the beach. accessible by public transportation as well. i appreciate all the local recommendations and making me feel at home. i highly recommend this stay!

Mark is a friendly, good-humored host. We communicated effectively before my check-in so that he was home to greet me and show me the amenities, which are all the ones listed on this app. What I liked the most was the bedroom, which had clean bed sheets and a comfortable bed. I had a good night’s sleep every night, as the area is quiet and so is Mark, even as he leaves to work pretty early. Secondly, but just as important, I appreciated that the bus stop is right outside: buses to the city centre stop there very frequently. I wanted a place to come back to easily after a day of visiting the touristy places but also connecting with the beautiful nature in Edinburgh. Overall, I think Mark’s place was the right one for me.

It was a really pleasant stay. It is a beautiful and clean house with two lovely cats. Sophie is really nice and helpful. She even woke up at 6am for us to give a ride to the airport. We will definitely stay in her place if we visit Edinburgh again!

Lovely spare room in Leith. Walking distance to plenty of cafes including a lovely coffee kiosk, easy access into Edinburgh via the tram and buses.

Her home is cozy, and her two adorable cats added an extra layer of comfort and such a joy to be around! What truly stood out, though, were the wonderful conversations we shared. Tracey is such an interesting and caring person, and our chats made my stay even more special. I highly recommend staying at Emanuele's house. He and his girlfriend are incredibly welcoming, and Spark, always greeted me with the warmest welcome. My schedule was quite packed, so I didn’t have much time to spend with them, but whenever I needed advice, they were always enthusiastic and helpful. The house looks exactly like the photos, and the beautiful decorations for Christmas made it feel cozy. The location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit all the attractions.

Dorota was very helpful! I only spent a few hours on new year’s eve and left super early in the morning but I found the room very cosy and warm considering that there was a storm outside! The place was clean as well and the room is fairly spacious and comfortable!

The apartment itself is small, but well-maintained. It's clean, and cozy. Nicolas is very kind, communicative, giving recommendations for different places to see or where and what to eat. A huge plus for smokers is that you can smoke inside, so I chose this place. Highly recommend, I will definitely come back the next time I visit Edinburgh:)

Stayed here for a few nights. Mazen has been a very kind and friendly host. The place is truly amazing and carefully decorated, located in a quiet neighbourhood but still pretty close to a lot of pubs, cafes and the tram station, so the city center is easily reachable. In the end: highly recommended!

5-star experience in an amazingly quiet area of Edinburgh!!! Mark is an excellent host!!! Very friendly, kind, careful. She gave us excellent local recommendations. Everything, absolutely everything was impeccably clean, tidy, with a good aroma and pleasant. Very comfortable bed, heating, comfortable and clean bathroom, with very good quality products and towels. Coffee, tea, and fruit available. We have nothing but words of gratitude for Mark for his generosity and excellent treatment. I think we made the best decision by staying in this beautiful apartment in a quiet area, a 20-minute walk from downtown Edinburgh and 5 minutes from the Leith waterfront, a magical area, full of cafes and restaurants with an amazing view. Very easy transportation from the airport, the tram stop was 5 minutes from the accommodation. Highly recommended!!!

We had a great stay at this place! The neighbourhood is excellent — quiet, pleasant, and very well located. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were travelling with a small dog who tends to get anxious when left alone, and we had tickets to a concert where we couldn’t bring her. The host was very understanding and kindly assured us that even if she barked a little, it wouldn’t be a problem — which we really appreciated! The price was also very reasonable, especially considering the quality and location. We’re really happy we chose this place!
