You'll soon be eating your way through market staples like chocolatines (NOT pain au chocolate!), traditional baguettes, the only farm-to-counter foie gras in the market, cheese from a fromager-affineur (and learning what those words mean!), some of the best charcuterie in Toulouse, and more. Some items we'll taste immediately, but others go into my basket for our final destination: a specially-reserved "tonneau" at a wine seller in the market, where we'll pair our finds with local wines made from obscure grape varieties. We finish on a sweet note with some locally-produced dessert. No need for lunch afterwards! Along the way, you’ll learn about food and market history, get tips for finding the best products, cultural lessons (French toasting etiquette, anyone?), and context for what you’re tasting. When it's over, you'll get an email listing where we went and what we tasted, as well as any special recommendations you asked for. Other things to note: We'll be eating on our feet, no seating! Discover astrophotography in Occitanie and leave with beautiful pictures of the starry sky!

 The session will start with an overview of the different constellations to recognize certain stars or other objects that can be photographed. Once the gear is installed, I'll teach you how to use it, adjust the settings, and compose an amazing photo of the starry sky. I have multiple cameras, lenses and tripods that you can use, so you don't need to have yours. But if you have one, it's even better!

 In winter, the Orion constellation and its nebula is clearly visible all night and offers a great show to photograph! To be under the most beautiful sky possible, and to avoid light pollution from the surrounding cities, the outing will take place approximately 1 hour drive from Toulouse towards the Pyrenees (between Foix, Saint-Girons and Daumazan-sur-Arize). We embark from La Pigasse near Capestang, and glide along the stunning Canal with it's beautiful scenery. As the only group (2-6 guests)on my gorgeous boat, Sianga, you will enjoy an exclusive cruise with one to one hosting, with your drinks of choice and snacks. I will talk about the amazing history of the canal as we pass though the lovely villages of Argeliers and Le Somail. We will cruise down a beautiful avenue of natural forest and also cross an amazing aquaduct. There are comfortable chairs at the front of the boat for relaxing, sunbathing or just profiting from the superb ambience of this fabulous UNESCO World Heritage site. I will serve you a delicious 3 course homemade meal chosen from a short menu in advance, with drinks of your choice, as we cruise. We will turn at Le Somail and return to La Pigasse. You will leave feeling fully relaxed, in awe of this beautiful piece of history, and with new friends (I hope!). Other things to note: Comfortable shoes are recommended, and we board the boat via a gang plank so some mobility is required.

Quand vous êtes fin prêts, c'est l'heure de démarrer. De ponts de singe en passages en escalade, vous remonterez la rivière jusqu'à la grande cascade du Garet. Votre guide veillera sur vous. Ne soyez pas inquiets car des portes de sorties sont accessibles tout le long du parcours. Et de toute façon, tout le monde se retrouve pour les descentes en tyrolienne. Rejoignez-moi pour un voyage au XVIIe siècle à Cadillac sur Garonne devenant une résidence Ducale attirant les grandes figures de la cour de France. Tout au long de la visite, j'incarnerai Jeanne, orpheline, ayant rejoint l'équipe de cuisinières du château sous l'égide de la duchesse. Je vous plongerai dans l'histoire captivante de Cadillac, où les intrigues de la cour se mêlent aux événements marquants du XVIIe siècle. Après l'enterrement de la duchesse d'Epernon, la ville subit une métamorphose dirigée par le Duc d'Epernon. L'ancien château cède place à un édifice somptueux, symbole des changements profonds à Cadillac. En tant que témoin privilégié je vous partagerai les détails captivants de cette époque charnière. Vous découvrirez la vie quotidienne à Cadillac au début du XVIIe siècle, des intrigues de la cour du Duc aux échos des guerres de religion, de l'assassinat d'Henri IV à la régence sous Louis XIII.
