Tan's retreat is among the most unique and welcoming properties I have ever encountered. Our family of 6 stayed with Tan for two nights. We have two teenagers and two young children. We were looking for a peaceful escape from the city and this is exactly what we found. The property was designed with extreme care and is maintained meticulously. The food is impossible to describe - every ingredient fresh, locally sourced, prepared with attention to detail and gorgeous presentation. One of our family members had special dietary requests and the staff went out of their way to honor those and serve him with kindness. My husband was invited to climb a ladder and cut down several coconuts right outside our room, from which we all drank fresh coconut water and then ate the meat. The most notable part of our stay was getting to know Tan, hearing his life story and learning so much about Vietnam's history, culture, and prospects for the future. We cannot recommend this stay highly enough!

Whatever I am going to say is not going to really describe my experience thoroughly. The kindest person I have ever met so far in Vietnam, he is very responsive, he even bought me medicine when I got sick, he makes great coffee. To sum it up book and you won't regret it.

I love it here! The house, facilities, weather, etc all superb. Found my go-to place should I visit Khao Yai again.

There is everything in a comfortable rest and walking distance. I highly recommend it as a good accommodation during your trip.
