Vacation rentals with breakfast in Manawatū-Whanganui

Loved the house and location... views spectacular. great place for a large group... there were twelve of us and did not feel crowded. close to town and the markets. Better than we expected. Will recommend it to friends and family traveling to Whanganui.

Host was friendly and proactive. Great property with a nice view and complete amenities. We highly recommend the place and will definitely book again.

Kate and Callum were fantastic hosts who went well beyond their obligations to make us feel at home and welcome. They were super friendly and responded to all our needs immediately. The house was fantastic, in fact as good as any other accommodation we have had in NZ. This property comes with our highest recommendation.

Lynne's place is absolutely beautiful and was even more amazing in person. All the rooms were really comfortable and had AC/heatpumps. The kitchen was well equipped and had cooking basics. The place was really clean when we arrived and check in was easy. It is a lovely peaceful area but still close and walkable to central Havelock. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Endsleigh Cottage was wonderful; it had everything we needed and was situated on gorgeous grounds with a genuine old world charm.

Martin is likely the best AirBnB host we have ever had. The home was a heritage home built in 1900, with so many special features including stained glass, interesting architecture, wood doors and beautiful antique furnishings. The home was much larger than expected and we felt right at home!

What an absolutely stunning place. Beautifully located in nature, with a gorgeous little stream flowing through the garden. The house is beautifully designed and fully equipped – everything you might need is there. Truly a fantastic spot. Hosts Scott and George are real superhosts – thoughtful and caring. This was my second stay at Ohm home, the first time being 5 years ago when I stayed here for 7 days on my own. This time was with my partner and since staying here the first time I’ve always raved about this stay and looked fondly back at the photos I’d taken. As great as the place looks from photos, nothing is as incredible and picturesque as actually being there and wow did it still amaze me being back again. The home itself is amazing, spotlessly clean with all the amenities and some very nice extra touches to make the stay that much nicer. The views and environment there are truly special and unique and I’ve not found any other place to be able to so easily feel at peace and truly switch off and relax. We will definitely be staying here again and I don’t think there will ever be another stay and experience even close to Ohm home. Thank you so much Raquel and Eduard for providing such a special place!

We had such memorable stay at Mary’s. Easy to find and so close to the lake. Beautifully decorated and so comfortable if felt like home. Mary gave us some great tips for local attractions and left us extra special treats just to make us feel welcome! Could not recommend highly enough.

Beautiful place, the owner baked us a fresh loaf which was amazing. Really appreciate how friendly the owner was, left us to our own devices after a nice hello. The sculpture garden was absolutely beautiful with gorgeous views of the lake. Perfect in the evening to cozy up and watch something on the smart TV with some Air-Con too. We’ll be back as soon as we can!

Lovely clean, comfortable accommodation set in a beautiful garden. Very comfy and private. Cliff was friendly and responsive to messages. Would definitely stay there again.

The beautiful historic Fire Station has been transformed into a posh home decor store on the ground level and some very nice apartments on the first floor. Beautifully finished hardwood floors, large rooms and high ceilings give a sense of grandeur to the place. We enjoyed the comfortable leather couches and chairs in the living room. When we needed a bigger pot for cooking and some extra hangers for clothes, the host, though out of town that weekend, responded immediately and had the maid bring them over. The apartment is very walkable to all the attractions downtown and, if you have a car, there is a secure parking place in the courtyard. There can be a bit of road noise outside the bedrooms, but not so much that earplugs can’t handle. We would recommend staying at this beautiful apartment if you want a convenient place to stay in Whanganui.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home ….. our hosts Marki and Chris were just wonderful and everything about the space and the surroundings was top notch. The furnishings, decor, attention to detail, lovely treats and overall vibe of the home was very special …. Walking distance to the most beautiful little bay, surrounded by nature was awesome. Would thoroughly recommend!!!

Very welcoming. Host arrived with some freshly baked bread and the fire was warming the house. We recommend staying here!

We really rated the attention to every detail at the Cool Down Room. Beautiful garden, clean, well thought out, dog friendly and lovely hosts. We felt at home and relaxed. Really close to Wairakei hot pools (my favourite). Close enough to Taupō while still being a peaceful life style block. Ticked all the boxes for us, really recommend this as a place to stay 🙂

What a beautiful spot! Great view from deck, kitchen and hot tub of the volcano and loved having a few different spots to relax depending on time of day. Good distance to the volcano for hiking but also the amenities of the house were great, as well as neighbouring highland cows!

She was so accommodating. Both very, very kind people. Peaceful place and the most beautiful gardens. And she had everything you could possibly ask for breakfast! I feel like they should charge more money. The bedroom also had its own little hang out spot with its own mini fridge as well!

This is a high quality beautiful place to stay. The hosts have thought of everything you need to be comfortable. The decor is divine. Only issue would prefer lock on suite door.

Such a peaceful place to stay. The surrounding countryside is beautiful - best viewed from the spa! We were very comfortable and definitely recommend to others.
