Yurt vacation rentals in Lake Superior

Had an amazing experience at Twisted Twig Yurt! We stayed in February and the snowy location and quiet surroundings were perfect. We stayed warm with the wood stove and wood provided. Clean and had everything we needed and lots of small touches that showed forethought about our experience. Easy drive into Bayfield, shopping and great lunch at Many Penny. Experienced the Chequamegon Bay ice caves and Mt Ashwabay cross country skiing what a great experience with our cozy home base at the Yurt.

beautiful setting; a retreat into the woods...quiet, didn't hear or see another person the entire time. Star viewing super. Comfortable beds if not over 6 ft tall or sharing a bed *diagonal option * Recommend bringing a camping chair if you have one. First yurt experience--certainly easier than camping. I will return, especially for nordic skiing. Really cool that price includes access to trails.

Loved staying here! Very peaceful and stunning view. Had everything I needed, including firewood, kindling, and extra lighters. Note that the 0.8 miles to get there is very steep.

Love, love, love Mushers Village! So glad we got to stay at this little treasure outside of town. We stumbled across this place and are so glad we did. Tasha was a great host and really cared about us even went to lengths to check on us on our visit. The Yurt was so cool! Thanks for making our stay so memorable!

We had a lovely and peaceful stay at Turtle Yurts! It was quiet and comfortable. It was very relaxing to watch the trees and the stars out of the dome.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the yurts and love them. They’re located just up the highway from town, and close to howl, and the wineries. Will definitely stay again.

Was exactly what we needed, an escape from the city and it was a beautiful getaway. I was worried about the yurt being too cold, but the fireplace heats up the space very quickly! They have lots of blankets and heaters and fans and the entire thing has electricity! It was awesome!

Wish we could have enjoyed the stay and surroundings more! Another time for sure. Such a beautiful and peaceful place to be. Thank you!

Turtle Yurts is a fun and unique stay in beautiful Bayfield. Loved the “skylight”. The woods were beautiful and quiet, but we were still very close to town and the lake.

Had a great time staying in the yurt. Great location and a short commute to the ferry’s for Mackinac Island. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed the peaceful yurt life! This was exactly what we were looking for and an overall great experience. We’d like to come back in the summertime!

Staying in a yurt was so cool! It was furnished well and had thoughtful touches like a fridge, kureig, and space heater. David said hello at one point while we were outside and we chatted, very nice man! The woman inside the main office was also very nice and helpful. We loved how private it felt! The yurt was tucked back a little so we had space from the rest of the campers. The access to the beach was our favorite part and we spent each night walking down and enjoying the sunset. If we are in the area again, we will definitely be back! Thanks again for an easy and relaxing weekend

Our stay at Bearadise 2 was incredible! The location was perfect, the drive back to the yurt was exciting and full of mother natures beauty. Even saw a shooting star 🤩 we can’t wait to come back again and again!
