It was a beautiful stay for our Finland trip. Definitely big plus points for the nice open kitchen and fireplace, everything was there to cook in the evening and enjoy a nice movie. The sauna space is also very comfortable. Another nice feature was the carport and small shed with tools for bikes and ski stuff, all you need for a little adventure in the North. We would highly recommend this place :) The only minor critique is that you are quite close to other houses and lack some privacy.

The house is exceptional, beautiful and located right on the lake. The decor is natural, modern and with lots of wood; we felt very comfortable from the first moment. Note the very secluded location; the nearest shopping (supermarket) is about 15 minutes away by car. But with proper planning, that's not a problem either. We enjoyed the quiet idyllic location very much.

Amazing Stay with an Exceptional Host! My stay at place was absolutely fantastic! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed for a perfect visit. The attention to detail truly stood out, from the thoughtful amenities to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. They were incredibly responsive, helpful, and provided excellent recommendations for local spots to explore. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better host or accommodation. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting and I’ll definitely be returning whenever I’m in the area! We stayed at Salme's cottage on the lake for almost a month during our parental leave, with our baby and our dog. The house is very well kept and extremely clean. The view on the lake is stunning and the area Is surrounded by forest. There is everything you may need for a nice stay, whether it's in winter or summer. Salme is very kind and helpful, and will be happy to give suggestions on things to do if needed. Overall one of our best experiences as guests on Airbnb!

A beautiful, functional, and peaceful cottage that was also great for a family with children. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and easy for the child to get outdoors in the cottage's own yard. It was easier to pack with a travel crib, high chair, and sleds. The trail was easily accessible within walking distance, and other activities were easily accessible by car. Check-in and checkout went smoothly, as well as communication and instructions with the host.

A spacious living area features large glass walls that provide stunning views of snow-covered trees and a colorful sky at sunset. A round dining table with black chairs is positioned nearby, complemented by a cozy seating arrangement and pine wood accents.

Exceptional house in an exceptional place. Very responsive and super nice host! We had an exceptional vacation in this magical house! We hope to be back as soon as we can. The house is much more beautiful than in the pictures!

Quietly located, yet close to everything. Ski trails and bike trails almost in the corner and just a short trip to the ski area. Cottage clean. Kitchen equipment is very comprehensive. Clothes drying cabinet is an absolute plus, especially for those who are traveling with children.

The stay at Ilka's cottage went smoothly. The cottage was in a beautiful location, functional, and perfect for five people and a dog. The stairs upstairs were a great time for a toddler. The sauna had wonderfully damp steam.

The house is very dated. Nonetheless it is very welcoming and the surroundings are amazing. Plenty to do in the area, although you will need to drive around quite a bit. Anssi was always quick to reply and his dad was very helpful when we needed something. As already said, the house is old and possibly in need of some tlc, but it is cosy and overall comfortable. At this price point, it is very good value for money. Sauna was also great. Overall thumbs up and recommended if you want to explore Lapland.

Our stay at this cabin in Syöte was magical. Surrounded by stunning nature, the cozy and well-equipped cabin was perfect for solitude, a romantic escape, or family time. The sauna was amazing, and Rauno, the kind and attentive host, ensured we had everything we needed. A peaceful retreat for any season—we will definitely return!
