Close to station and supermarket. Comes with very nice view of the mountain. Well equipped kitchen for simple meal. Value for money and a great place to stay and explore the surrounding. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating host. Recommended for travellers.

Great little apartment in a beautiful chalet away from the tourist hot spots. The 25 min walk from the Wengen train station is definitely worth it for this peaceful spot. Lots to do in the area although note that April and May are off peak season and so many of the hotels and restaurants are closed. We still found places open and the apartment has good cooking facilities and a lovely sunny terrace so no need to eat out much anyway. The private sauna located in the bathroom was an amazing bonus after a days hiking!

We stayed for 3 days there from 16th-19th April 2025. The house is located at the peaceful Gimmelwald. Maybe it’s because it was off season the whole village was very quiet and peaceful. We didn’t see any tourist other than us. The stay was a more than 100 years old wood cabin where the host lives with his wife on the second floor. We had a private bedroom on the first floor with shared kitchen, bathroom and living room. The cabin was beautiful both from outside and inside, decorated with care and love. I liked it so much and I recommend the stay.

Places where there's nothing lacking 👍🏻 It is a perfect accommodation with the friendliness of Anita, the unspoken Eiger view, the clean accommodation, and the convenience of getting around close to the terminal station. 👍🏻 If I travel to Switzerland again next time, I will definitely use Anita Chalet. ☺️
