Hi omg thank u so much! So so so sorry abt the dishes i left- i did most of them but of course i repacked before my flight. I did wash all the towels besides the ones left in the wash! thank you so much though, it really felt like home, and what’s more, it gave me the, okay, so this is the blueprint for my future (tiny) okay, it rlly is what I would love to live in one day now! it also has a genie in the bottle feeling- way bigger inside! Thanks again for a lovely stay, and for letting me drink so much Black Forest Cake coffee :-)

Jillian's place was true to the description - the view from here is incredible. The unit had freshly redone floors and new furniture brought in before our stay so it was very comfortable, up to date, and clean. Gorgeous place to stay if you are visiting Ketchikan. Also very accommodating to longer term stays.

Stayed several days and especially appreciated the central location and ease to wander around Creek Street and downtown. My dad lives close by and it was ideal from that perspective. It was easy to get in - just be aware that you need to climb some stairs to get to the suite I was in on the third floor. I slept well each night and the shower was hot and clean. I’d stay again.

I have stayed here each year beginning in 2020 and I simply love staying here. Dena is a great host and the views from her place are amazing. I highly recommend her and her place!

The place looked exactly like the pictures was very very clean. Lovely big windows. With lots of light. located in a really active area of the town. Walkable to stores, restaurants, etc. communications with Jamie were always very fast and very responsive to any questions we might have. I liked the way the bedrooms were set up. With two king/queen beds and then another room with two twin beds. The two big beds mattresses were really comfortable. This kind of set up is really great for many different arrangements of visitors. Jamie provides a paid for parking pass where you can park in any public area downtown, but in Ketchikan, parking is sparse. There is a parking lot directly across from the apartment building where we stayed, but it fills up really quickly and street parking is very rarely an option. We found that you can almost always get a space in the early morning hours and mid afternoon and after six pm, just plan your outing accordingly. A+.

Sarah was super accommodating! The place was perfect for our stay - and affordable. It’s an older house, so there is not much sound barrier between upstairs neighbors and the apartment but that’s often how apartments are anyway. The bus stops right outside the house and there is a nice bike path as well.

2nd time staying here, and it was just as great as the 1st time. From the location to the hosts, I HIGHLY recommend staying here when you can! ❤️.

This was my second stay at Marsha's place, and it was as lovely as the first. I love the surrounding trees, and the location is central to everything to do in Ketchikan. Thank you, Marsha, for a great place to stay!

Had a great stay. Our work crew had everything they needed, and the location was very convenient.

I know this may come off as trite or exaggerated but believe me when I say this is hand's down the very best AirBnB experience I've had in the US. Alaska is home for me & I travel all over the state for business. I am accustomed to AK standards for "lovely accommodations" & I am telling you now Amanda (who always responded promptly) & her property far surpass even Anchorage's Hotel Captain Cook. When I booked her pet friendly home I must admit I was a little bit wary expecting there to be a lingering odor of poo or, even worse, urine but such was not the case. Everything in the kitchen is where you'd expect it to be. The setting was a perfect 15min distance from downtown with a small but quality grocery store along the way. The nearby beach is sandy (rare treat in AK) & Ward Lake is nearby offering a wonderfully relaxing stroll as well as giant fireplaces beneath pavilions which allow for enjoyable gatherings in spite of classic Southeast AK Weather. I will definitely return!

I’m a local here and Ketchikan but needed a weekend to stay with my son and I until I could move in elsewhere. This is definitely the gem in Ketchikan ,easy to get to as advertised beautiful surroundings and the easiest way to get into the apartment you have to book it to find out what I mean..

We stayed at Cass’s place for six nights on our 4th visit to Ketchikan to see our family. This spot was perfectly located for us and Cass has thoughtful touches in this lower level Airbnb. We plan to return every year for a visit if we are able to!

This place worked out great for us. We had an issue with the door code but they were prompt in replying and were able to allow us to gain access in short order. We will plan on staying there on our next visit for sure!

This was a nice clean place and has feather beds! Having laundry facilities was a real plus. It is in a quiet neighborhood. A large library of books is available. Because it is miles from central Ketchikan there are increased transportation costs to stay here. This family was often able to provide some shuttles to other places, at reasonable cost, and with flexibility about stopping to do errands.

After looking for places to stay for our honeymoon this place was not only the lowest cost but also practically right next to Buggies Beach and almost next to the house I grew up in. The wife absolutely loved the apartment. It had everything from coffee to laundry units to a first aid kit and cough spray. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the apartment because we were spending more time running around the island and having a blast in Ketchikan. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Just right for my stay in Ketchikan for a few days. So much more personal than staying in a hotel. Next time I'm planning a trip to Ketchikan, I'll check with Jillian about this same spot.
