A very cozy and comfortable house. The house has everything you need and even more.

Sandra and Dave were super friendly and helpful with everything we needed. The boat is very well kept and has way more amenities than you would expect on a boat this. We slept 7 and while it was a tiny bit cramped the space is used as well as it possibly could be. The nearby beach is massive and super fun to explore. The local area is small and expensive but it was not too difficult to get into Amsterdam and Haarlem by bus. Highly recommend, although groups of 5+ people are definitely a tighter squeeze.

Unfortunately, we only stayed at the property for one night. It was super nice and right on the dunes. The communication with Gerrit was just great and we would come back again and again!

We (family with 2 children, 2 and 5 years old) had a great time at Patrick's place and IJmuiden. As hoped, the house was built directly on the sand, so the children could occupy themselves with digging. There were also other families next door, the kids played together. The toilet was just a chemical camping toilet, but the public toilet was also only 100 m away. We were by car (parking card for the beach), so we could make great trips to Amsterdam, Haarlem or the children's park linnaueshof (all 30-40 min away). Conclusion: we had a great relaxing time with great views and lots of beach atmosphere with great hosts.
