We loved our two nights here. The surroundings can’t be beat and the house is cozy with everything you need. My teenager loved it so much he wanted to move in!

We had such a great time in the house! it's so great and beautifull!! And what a wonderfull place it's in!! The rest and peace around there is so good!! We certainly will try to go here next time when we visit Sweden next year!!

Very nice house with good style and a responsive host

Thank you for this super great place where we, our son and our two dogs were very welcome! We spent two nights here on our round trip to see the two huge lakes and the Göta Canal. The old farmhouse has modern amenities despite its historic charm, is clean, very spacious and offers everything you need for the stay. The highlight is the garden with the fantastic view and the visit of wild animals in the evening. We regret having only booked two nights and would be happy to come back. An absolute Airbnb recommendation!

Very nice accommodation where we only stayed overnight before continuing our trip. However, we were greeted with a lit fire and immediately felt at home! Super happy with our stay! :)

We were a big bunch of people who celebrated New Year in this house for the second year in a row. Again, it was easy to communicate with the host who responded quickly when we had questions and was very helpful and flexible. The house was absolutely perfect for a large group of friends and dogs, with all rooms and large areas. The kitchen was absolutely perfect for a big New Year's dinner! We would also like to thank the neighbor who helped us shovel the entire driveway when there had been 30 cm of snow on New Year's Day ❤️✨

We stayed 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) in Simon and Björn's cozy house and really enjoyed it! Some issues that were out of the hosts' control but like they went out of their way to resolve in the best way. We enjoyed the secluded location, the tranquility of the forest and of course the pool. Since the weather was not always on top, it was nice to be able to start a fire in the stove and play some games with the kids. We are looking forward to come back next summer!

The place was very nice and had everything you need for a longer stay. If you had any questions, you were answered quickly and kindly. We particularly liked the sauna and the living room with the beautiful fireplace where you could spend relaxing evenings. In the area there were many opportunities to run or hike, which was also optimal for our dogs.

Staying in Alexander's house was a real experience. It was wonderful to enjoy the peace, the view, the swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and the boat trip to the island. Alexander gave us the good tip to watch the sunset, worth it! As the icing on the cake, we also saw the northern lights. The accommodation was spacious, cozy and very homely. In short, we would have liked to stay longer.

We were 6 adults and two children, who have enjoyed ourselves so much in this lovely place! We have bathed, enjoyed the many outlets and took nice hikes in the local area. Perfect for finding peace and plenty of space to hang out with several families. The hosts respond quickly, are very helpful and very nice. Thank you so much for your time.

To say we had a nice stay would be an understatement! The accomidation is so lovely and we had an amazing vacation. The pool deck is even nicer than you might think from the pictures. The pool costs a little extra (120€ for the week as of 2022), which would have been nice to write in the listing. Given the pool is heated and has to be maintained the cost is understandable though of course. The next grocery store is about 15min by car and the next bigger town about 40 to 50min. Given how nice the house is you might not want to leave though :) We had a lot of fun taking the SUP and the canoe out to the lake, we even had the chance to do this with our little dogs for the very first time, so that was a really great experience. There is even a grill, which Linda and Peter were kind enough to let us borrow. All basic spices, oils and such were also there to borrow. The surrounding forrest is beautiful too and there were plenty of mushrooms to pick. Lastly two things worth noting (These werent issues for us but might be worth knowing for others). Both the pool deck and the garden are not fenced in, so if you have small kids or dogs you will have to keep an extra eye out. And the larger beds in the main house are in separate rooms but the rooms are only separated by a curtain. Again, these were really non issues when you take into account how lovely the rest of the place was! So, thank you again for letting us stay here, Linda and Peter!

The house is very welcoming and entirely immersed in the countryside. It is carefully furnished and has everything you need. If it is a beautiful day like the one we had, you can also enjoy the outside, equipped with a table for eating and chairs and armchairs. An oasis of tranquility.

The best Airbnb experience I’ve had! The pictures don’t do justice to how cute and cozy the space is. The surrounding areas are full of gorgeous lakes, hills, and forest. Kirsten and her family were so kind and welcoming! The property has several walking trails through peaceful country and we even saw some wildlife! 10/10 would return and would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful countryside stay in western Sweden!

Had an amazing stay in every respect! A beautiful place for all the senses ! Cabin, facilities, surroundings and above all the host's welcome and treatment were above and beyond . Here we will return many times!

It was a lovely stay in a nice, quiet area. I planned to hike in Tiveden National Park, but unfortunately that was not possible due to snow. Margaretha recommended me an alternate route in the area. That was a wonderful walk through a winter wonderland! The cottage is very clean and tidy. It was outside -8 degrees and therefore it was also quite fresh inside (even though Margaretha had already turned on the heating a few days in advance to preheat the cottage). Fortunately, there are enough blankets in the cottage to keep you warm.
