I felt very comfortable in the Gelora House. Friendly staff and sparkling clean, not just in the room. The kitchen's equipment includes no stove or pots, which could be improved. Otherwise, I was very satisfied with finding such a pleasant home away from home in Jakarta. There is also a value for laundry service inexpensive laundry service. The Palmerah district is quite central, there are no tourist highlights or trendy restaurants from anywhere, whether by bus or an Ojek.

Overall great value, the place identical to photos, comfortable stay for us family of 2 elders, 2 adults and 1 infant. pros: location is good, it is a home located in quiet neighboorhood area, just beside mosque but not too noisy cons: this listing is on 2nd floor so mind the stairs is on outdoor area, the parking at the house is only for 1 car so if its occupied by other guest you need to park in the street. We liked the place so we'll consider to stay again here or at Gugi's another place :)

The place is spacious and comfortable for children. The pool is really big. Amenities such as extra mattresses and cutlery need to be updated. Overall good and worth it.

We had a large group that stayed here and Flip Flop accommodated all of us quite comfortably. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed the flip flop coffee shop/restaurant right across the street as well. We felt so welcome during our stay and were so blessed by our hosts.

The route leading to Nadine’s place wasn’t the greatest; it was steep, has in the middle of nowhere kinda feels - but it also what makes this place special because it’s quiet and serene. I wouldn’t it’s the most accessible, but it definitely is worth the trip. The place was very clean, we were greeted by the housekeepers and Nadine’s mom, who were very friendly. Lots of amenities too, which we loved. Definitely 5 stars!

The room was as advertised, things were in good working order. The shower did not have hot water. One thing that was not advertised is that his wife has a pretty full trophy case from baking competitions. The breakfasts were delicious and included homemade Indonesian pastries of the best quality. Benyamin was extremely helpful with my stay in Yogyakarta. He helped arrange a driver at a very decent price (ie; what locals might pay) for a Borobudur trip when there was a mix-up with a tour company where their mini-bus left without me. I was on the road in less than an hour after learning that my previously arranged transport fell through. His advice on where to shop for batik turned out to be the best shops I found anywhere in Indonesia. Both mornings I was there, I had pre-6am departures. Despite this he had breakfast for me. When I expressed interest in the mango tree in his garden, he made available as many mangoes as I could have wanted.

Perfect place to stay.

This is my second time staying at Perucha’s. During my first stay I was very pleased with the location of her place. It is relatively in close proximity to business and recreation facilities; easy access from airport highway toll. And yet, the neighborhood is quiet, green with lots of tree, blue sky and clean air. On my second stay, I was consistently provided with warm reception, unsurpassed hospitality, clean and comfortable bedroom, bathroom and library or public are. I was pleasantly surprised to see the upgraded bathroom. In conclusion, I will definitely stay at Perucha’s place for my next business trip in South Jakarta. Moreover, I will recommend Perucha’s place to my friends.

I deeply regret not discovering this hidden gem sooner! Staying at this place was a truly magical experience. The location is simply unbeatable, nestled within a vibrant museum where there's a captivating art event every night. The room itself was a cozy sanctuary, impeccably clean, fragrant, and the AC was already on upon my arrival, creating a cool and refreshing retreat. The owners and Mas Dewa were incredibly responsive and welcoming, even providing complimentary snacks, tea, and coffee in our room. The atmosphere was utterly unique and enchanting, immersing me in Yogyakarta's rich culture and creativity. I can't wait to return to this place haven on my next visit to Jogja. It's a truly unforgettable experience that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking an extraordinary stay!

This is one of the best place in Jogja, especially if you would like to get close with local young and energic people. Location is not far from vredeburg, lot of affordable restaurant. Ambience is very comfort, property is clean and each day they will makeup our room. This is very recommended

A cosy, peaceful & cool spot to boost your creative mind with a good number of hidden gem cafes & coffee shops around the neighborhood. Being close to nature , you’ll hear a bit of noise from the animals outside in the night, particularly if you’re a light sleeper like me. Regardless , I’d love to comeback!

This house is really 5 star. Full marble, high end appliances, really clean. Also private entrance to the room. House gate always guarded. On the street also have securities standing by 24/7. Helpers always ready. Super !! Me and my friends have stayed in many rented properties. This one is really the best. Excellent host, excellent helpers. Best of the best. Thankss……

very satisfied with the service. The room is clean, tidy and cozy to rest. Staff is friendly and very helpful. It is strategically located, close to dining and downtown. Amenities such as Wi-Fi, hot water, and air conditioning worked great. Perfect for both vacation and business trip. Will definitely come back again if the opportunity arises!

A very good accommodation. The rooms were clean and tidy, with lovely decorations and quiet. The garden area is perfect, to relax, have the included breakfast (which was very delicious) and just hangout. The location is very good, since it's quite close to the major places like the train station and Malioboro Street. We didn't get to meet Emi and Gemala but we met the nephew Farhan, who was always very kind, friendly and very helpful. All in all a very recommended place to stay at in Malioboro.
