We had an absolutely wonderful time at the cottage! The beautiful views and the soothing sounds of nature made for an unforgettable experience. It was the perfect getaway, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Maximo and Annette were outstanding hosts – welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. We also want to give a special shoutout to German and Lucky, who took great care of us during our stay. Their help and kindness made our experience even better, and we really appreciate them. This was a 10/10 stay, and we can’t wait to come back!

It's a lovely place on Lake Izabal. The beach looks golden; the house blends perfectly with the landscape. The place is very nice, everything is very clean, the host and his wife are very friendly, we were delighted with the service they provided us, they were always attentive to any need we had, very friendly, very helpful. The only detail is the location, it is very far from the town, the road is unpaved, but everything is worth it because the place is very quiet, you have to go prepared with food or Joel and his wife help you with cooking. Everything was worth it, my family and I were very happy, very satisfied with everything. The house is amazing, the beach is practically private. It is highly recommended.

I had the opportunity to go with 12 people. place is probably for 20 people. The rooms are well equipped, hang out areas very spacious. perfect for a large family. Lidia, Israel and Willy were always on site ready to help yet not over bearing. Ramon was always available.

What a wonderful place! My family and I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb gem. From the moment we arrived, the host welcomed us with a warmth and kindness that makes you feel at home, but a much nicer home!

We were looking for somewhere to spend several relaxing days with things to do for my children (11 and 15 years old). This place was excellent. Since we arrived, Don Mario was very helpful in receiving us at the marina where we left the car parked, it is a short 10-minute trip to the house. The house with its two air-conditioned rooms, living room, kitchen and a terrace where we spent most of the time. The wind makes it super nice to be outside. We jumped into the river a thousand times, used the pedal boat and went to explore the surrounding area. On the last day, no one really wanted to go back. Maria was in constant communication with me and always attentive to any eventuality. We had the support of Elvia in the house, Don Mario's daughter, during the week (paid separately and directly to her) and it was key for us to be calmer, she is a very polite and helpful girl. It's definitely a place we hope to return to soon...

Recommended! The house is in an excellent location for enjoying sweet river and livingston. It is a good option for those who want to relax at the river bank and is well equipped to cook, although there are restaurants nearby that you can go to.
