Condo vacation rentals in Italy

With a week to spend on Lake Como, I wanted somewhere quiet and with personality. Nothing quite measured up until I found Teddy's place. It's on the top two floors with a lot of space and - the clincher - fantastic views of the lake from the sitting room, where I spent a lot of time. There is also a lot of privacy, despite being surrounded by other buildings. I really liked the location in Malgrate, which is walking distance from Lecco. There are several nice shops and restaurants on the road below the property, a good supermarket about 15 minutes walk away and a waterfront promenade that makes a nice running route. Teddie was a friendly and responsive host and was kind enough to drive me and my big bag to and from the station. Would recommend.

Check-in was hassle-free by prior arrangement. Salvatore personally welcomed us and explained everything well. It is very friendly and always easy to reach. Although the hosts live right next door, privacy is given at all times. The apartment is very spacious, the kitchen well equipped and everything very clean. We didn't miss anything. Villa itself is fantastically beautiful. On the terrace you are surrounded by numerous Mediterranean pot plants and have a direct view of the sea. Although numerous restaurants, cafes and bars are in the immediate vicinity, we preferred to sit on "our" terrace and enjoy the evening atmosphere. After daytime Excursions are also very pleasant to relax on the "private beach" and take a swim in the sea. Sun loungers, umbrella, air mattress, everything is there. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be happy to come back any time. Thanks to Salvatore!

I stayed here with my partner and two children (9 and 13). Bianca and Alfonso were brilliant - always happy to help. The apartment was very comfortable, we had everything we needed, I particularly enjoyed sitting out on the balcony with my morning coffee (a real bonus as it was April). As mentioned there is a walk up the hill into town. From the apartment door to the station this took 15-20 mins, we had to walk up the road though as the path behind the apartment was temporarily closed - that would have been quicker. It is such a beautiful location though, with stunning views over to Vesuvius all the way, that we never minded the walk. This was a great base for visiting Pompeii, Naples, Herculaneum and Vesuvius. The local train does get busy but is easy enough to use otherwise. We were glad we booked the airport bus to and from the airport with our luggage! There are plenty of shops and restaurants in town - Alfonso gave us some recommendations which I appreciated. I would recommend.

Very great area that is perfectly connected. I have been to Rome several times and would always stay at Jochen's place. The neighborhood is really great, you can get to the bus super fast to go downtown, has shops, bars and great cafes right on the piazza around the corner - Testaccio is a real dream! In the apartment, everything was also in order and clean :)

This apartment was in the best location. Very close to the canal and some amazing bars and restaurants. It is situated on a beautiful cobbled street. Also close to the M2 metro line with easy access to the centre and to the airport. The bed was comfy, everything was very clean and tidy, and Federico answered all of our questions within just a few minutes. He let us check in early which was really helpful. We had a wonderful stay in Milan, thank you!

The breathtaking view is worth every penny and Ciompi is fantastic host, although easy to find on the map I would strongly recommend using the metro unless an experienced homer, as Google maps loves taking you up the stairs! Great pizza place just the local shops and a short walk from buses and metro, the walk to the central city is nice going downstairs too. 11/10 recommendation!

Beautiful area, fantastic view of the lake from the balcony. The apartment is perfect for 2 people, but a car is advisable because of the location. We enjoyed the time very much, also the SPA area is highly recommended. Communication with our host was also very good. We will be happy to come back!

The proposed apartment is great: very clean, well arranged and spacious. There is plenty to make coffee, the terraces are nice and Edouardo is an available and generous host. The location is convenient on foot 15 minutes from the Duomo and with the possibility of dining on foot as well. Eduardo recommended nice places for dinner! The accommodation is very clean! It is located on the road so a little car noise but it's not disturbing at all (while I'm usually sensitive to noise) because it's high . Eduardo is also kind to provide quiescent balls! There is a supermarket a 5-minute walk away which is very convenient. I felt at home thanks to Eduardo's availability. I highly recommend!ideal for a couple or family!

The host is very kind and understanding

This apartment was everything we hoped for and more! It's spacious, beautifully designed, and filled with natural light. The location is fantastic—just a short two-block walk to the sea and situated in a safe area, although too noisy in the early morning hours. Maurizio was an outstanding host, always communicative and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place in Minori

Valentina was our contact while we stayed in Limonta. She was the most friendly, kind, and responsive host we have ever known. She always went above and beyond what she had to. She gave us the most easy and helpful check-in information, checked in on us during our stay with great friendliness, and tipped us off to local experiences and restaurants to enhance our stay. The little home was private, peaceful, and with a fantastic terrace/view that we made the most of every day of our stay. We had such a nice little trip, and it will be looked back on fondly due to the special touch of Valentina!

We had such a lovely stay at Ornela’s. The accomodation was very well contained, tidy and practical, perfect for our little one as there was a toy corner which he loved. A great space and with a beautiful garden/seating area outside. Ornela was an excellent host. I recommend a stay here! Great for a family.

We have a great stay @ Andrea’s place. I appreciated all the details and information he provided for us, the very good communication, the great neighborhood, the teresse and the nice and intimate place.

We felt very comfortable with Francesco The place exceeded our expectations (clean, everything present and surrounded by a great garden) and we really enjoyed the time in the immediate vicinity of a wonderful beach. Thank you for the great hospitality, Francesco! Hopefully we can make it to Punta Prosciutto again!

Lovely place to which every day it was great to come back, close to the town and train station. Very nice hosts, ready to help with any situation with a high level of communication. Definitely worth recommending.

The apartment was very nice and 5 minutes' walk from the beach. Everything was exactly as described, no surprises awaited us. Communication with Christina was always perfect. We also particularly liked the lockable garage parking space. We highly recommend the apartment!

The view of Lake Maggiore is beautiful. A big plus is the well-kept pool. All in all a lovely place to stay.

Great view and the pool (which we could no longer use in October because of the weather) are a dream. Paola is a dream host and always available and had many tips right from the start. Unfortunately, shopping is not possible in the village, which means you either have to buy something in smaller stores (if you can find a parking space) or you have to go back to Como. Otherwise, you can also start a few hikes directly from the apartment. Restaurants are available in the village or in nearby villages as long as you can find a parking space - which unfortunately was an issue even in October (also due to construction sites)

Elena was a cozy and accommodating host. The location of her structure is really sheltered. The window of the apartment overlooks the sea directly, giving you a breathtaking view. The room was clean and equipped with everything you need, especially in the bathroom. I thank the host so much for having arranged for his guests to use a parking space in the garage, as Varigotti is difficult to park, but easy to reach on foot from the apartment enjoying a promenade walk

We liked the stay at the place very much. You are at the lake in a very short time, where you can super relax and swim. The pool was also very welcome. The balcony was very nice and even in the kitchen we could prepare good meals. Shopping without a car would have been very tedious, but optimal with a car. Alessia was also very accommodating and friendly :) We would definitely come back here!

Everything was just as expected, Conny very likeable and the communication was good. The view from the balcony was magnificent and numerous bialettis for typical Italian coffee available :) Clear recommendation.

Mario's AirBnB has a great location, it was very close to the two vila's we wanted to visit (Vila Carlotta and Vila del Balbianello), so there was no hassle with ferries etc. in the morning. We also very much loved the beautiful view from the balcony, on the mountains and Lake Como. The kitchen was very well equipped and the sofa bed was comfortable. However, the biggest plus of the AirBnB was Mario himself! He kindly picked us up from the ferry port in Tremezzo and even gave us a ride to Vila del Balbianello the day we left! He was also very responsive via text and gave us great tips! Would highly recommend!
