Condo vacation rentals in Iceland

Seven minutes drive to downtown Reykjavík. Great parking at the church for the cheapest parking price in town and incredibly secure. Average price was about half price or better of any hotel downtown. Savings allowed me to have a rental car and do some of my own touring. Parking was great on site at the apartment. Very clean building and facilities. YouTube was great for learning how to use the stove and wash washer/dryer.

We had a wonderful time in this cozy apartment. It was a nice location to be outside the city but have easy access to main roads and shops. We chose this place as it was walking distance to our friends' house. Heba's decor is very pleasing and the kitchen had everything we needed. The space is well designed for relaxation and practicality. It was easy to park our rental car in the driveway.

I had the most amazing stay at Linda’s place !!! The view is breathtaking in million dollar apartments, close to everything ( like a 1 min walk ) the place is absolutely stunning next time I come I’ll only stay at Linda’s 🥰

Great apartment located a short walk from the main streets and centre of Reykjavik. We hired a car for some of the stay and found it easy to get parking right outside the apartment. Really spacious rooms and well equipped throughout. Bridget met us on arrival and easy check out process. A little noise at night as right next to the street but it didn't disturb us.

I can't say enough good things about the studio: spotlessly clean, comfy bed, well-stocked kitchen, huge shower, plenty of storage, and a big TV. It's set back from the street and very quiet. The neighborhood is very safe and I was comfortable walking alone. It was the perfect base for exploring Iceland. Being so central, you can walk to the main attractions easily. It's 5 minutes max to Bus Stop #9 for tours/Flybus and one block to Laugavegur with great restaurants and shops. It could not be better situated for sightseeing. While I didn't meet Roald, I was in constant contact with Sigurthor before and during my trip. He was incredibly patient, responded to all my questions within minutes, and provided great recs. He was unfailingly kind and an absolute delight of a human being. It felt more like staying at a friend's house instead of an Airbnb. I highly recommend the Cozy Studio. This was by far the best place we stayed during our visit to Iceland. The unit was nicely equipped from the kitchen to the linens. Location was walkable to dinner and local shopping. We were even able to walk to the docks for our whale watching excursion. Our only driving was to the Forest Lagoon hot springs (highly recommend them, we went twice)

This was the perfect distance from the bus stop to take us into the city. Because it was right outside of the main city center, it was quiet and peaceful. The area had everything we needed and it felt safe. Just a heads up to other visitors the water has a sulfurous taste and smell. This is a wonderful place to stay and we would definitely book this again!

magnifique appartement au milieu de grand espace islandais, très spacieux avec deux pièces (cuisine et chambre) avec une vue époustouflante, un petit canapé et une salle de bain assez pratique; tout le nécessaire finalement, nous sommes malheureusement rester qu’une nuit mais que ce fut un plaisir !

el apartamento muy grande, con todas las comodidades, mejor que en las fotos, es la casa particular de la anfitriona que es muy amable y contesta muy rápido. estaba todo muy limpio y debes dejarlo limpio a la salida puesto que no se paga en la reserva el servicio de limpieza. también tuvimos que hacernos las camas pero las instrucciones están muy bien indicadas ! estuvimos muy a gusto!!

My husband Geoff and I can't recommend Randover's place highly enough. It is perfectly located close to the center of Reykjavik and is lovingly and stylishly decorated. It has a private entrance and there is ample street parking if needed. The space itself is quiet, spacious, and light. It is located underneath another apartment but we hardly knew the other occupants were there. Randover is an avid reader and has an eclectic collection of furniture and books. Randover provided lots of local tips and the information about the space was easy to follow. I wish we could have stayed longer!

We stayed here as a family of 5, with 3 children young children. Ingvar was able to provide a crib for our youngest, and the other two had their own separate bedroom. They were also responsive and friendly to a few of our questions. Everyone slept well, kitchen was stocked with essentially needed for simple meal prep, and location was super convenient for walking around. The washer/dryer also came in handy. I would recommend this place for a family visiting.

Eyrún was incredibly kind, helpful, and thoughtful! 🥰 There wasn’t a vacuum cleaner or a broom, so doing a quick clean-up during our stay was a bit tricky, something to consider for future guests 👍 Still, the apartment was peaceful and filled with light, and having our own parking spot was such a great plus! It was easy to get around by car, and grocery stores were within walking distance. We had a wonderful stay in Hafnarfjörður and in beautiful Iceland! ❤️

Wir könnten nicht glücklicher sein. Es war für uns der letzte Stopp unserer Winterreise und die Gemütlichkeit der Unterkunft hätte uns fast nicht mehr nach Hause fliegen lassen. Die Wohnung ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos und das einfache Leben durch die unmengen an Gewürzen, Tees, Kaffee hat das entspannte Erlebnis abgerundet. Man sollte keine Schwierigkeiten mit (wenn auch kurzen) steilen Treppen haben. Für uns eine ganz klare 10/10! Wir kommen gerne wieder, sollten wir nochmal nach Island reisen. Vielen Lieben Dank für Alles und die tolle Kommunikation!

Hannes place was perfectly situated for us. It was easy to get to all our destinations, we had a rental car, and it was quiet and peaceful after our day’s adventures each day. Hannes was great with communication and had great suggestions on restaurants and attractions. The unit was super clean and had everything we needed for our week. We even got to see the Northern Lights right above the unit on our last night there! Amazing! Hopefully we will get a chance to return to Iceland and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Styrmir is a great and friendly host! The place itself was spacious and lovely and was an easy walk to many places.

This was a great place to stay during our time in Reykjavik. It’s very easy to get to everything the city has to offer, but it is far enough away from the city center to be a peaceful quiet place to stay. We had everything we needed and more here. I’m so glad we were able to stay here, and would highly recommend it!

A lovely apartment in the centre of Reykjavik, within a few minutes’ walk of shops, cafes and the coastline. Apartment was comfortable and cozy with all the amenities we needed. Our host, Orri, was responsive to the few queries we had, including the nearest area that had free parking (which turned out to be only 10 minutes walk away). We had a wonderful time.

Wonderful place to stay! If you value a quiet private setting this place is perfect! A bit of a drive from other sites but we liked that it was more remote. It was still an easy drive to vik for the day. The pools and steam room made it a really special place to unwind.

Really enjoyed my stay at Halldór's apartment - very cosy and well decorated. 20 minute walk to anywhere in downtown Rekyjavik, and an even shorter walk to the coast. Halldór made himself available for check-in, and was helpful thereafter. Bonus points for plenty parking spaces being available on street. Would recommend!

Great stay! Wish the weather wasnt so cloudy during our visit, we never did see the aurora outside our bedroom window. Maybe next time! Fun to watch the horses playing at the house across from the airbnb. And great location for food , Selfoss is very reachable, good center location for driving around to see Icelandic sightseeing

Wonderful apartment, really great location to roads out of Reykjavík and near to restaurants and the city centre. Very clean, tidy and comfortable living room, kitchen, bed and bathroom. Would absolutely stay again. Underground parking felt very safe and easy to use - the lift goes to the basement for taking luggage in and out of your car. Very quiet and peaceful and warm in the flat. Communication from hosts was amazing, really great service! Throughly recommend! Thank you for our stay!
