If you're a couple or on your own and looking for a getaway in the peaks this is a perfect little place to stay. Myself and my partner were very satisfied with everything it had to offer, and it is very well located to easily access stunning walks such as Thor's cave, the Roaches and Luds church. Also very near Buxton and Bakewell which are worth visiting in between your walks.

Lovely few days in Longnor, a beautiful cottage and immaculately clean. Very cosy and easy to access footpaths and walks in the Peak District.

Had a wonderful stay at Rose Cottage with my friend and my 2 Labradors. The cottage was just perfect, spotless, cozy and situated in the most beautiful location. John greeted us with a freshly baked loaf of bread and was on hand for any help we needed- including plasters for our blisters from all the beautiful walks! Will definitely return!

We stayed at The Leaping Hare Barn for a short walking break. The accommodation was fantastic. The setting is peaceful with beautiful views. Inside it was comfortable, cosy and clean with everything you need to feel at home. Jane is the perfect host; helpful and thoughtful.
