If you want to visit Hoi An but aren't interested in staying in the hectic old quarter or at a big boring resort I HIGHLY recommend this. Especially if you like the beach. It is right on the beach, there is only a sandy path and a small strip of vegetation between you and the water. You can hear the soothing sounds of the ocean all night. We enjoyed the 15 minute bicycle ride to the Old Quarter or you can catch a Grab for short drive for very little. The accommodation is superb! It is quite spacious with a very comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. Diem is an incredible host. Very welcoming and full of excellent tips and ideas for your stay. DO NOT SLEEP ON HER RECOMMENDATIONS We ticked off nearly everything she recommended and they were all excellent. 100% would recommend and stay again.

Wir haben uns im Early Bird BnB sehr wohlgefühlt! Micha hat uns gleich bei Ankuft mit guten Tipps für den ersten Abend versorgt und war auch sonst immer sehr nett und hilfsbereit :) Das Frühstück im dazugehörigen Café ist außerdem sehr zu empfehlen! Trotz eher mäßiger Wetterlage hatten wir eine tolle Zeit und würden immer wieder kommen :)

Wir sind spät angekommen und haben die Unterkunft nicht gleich gefunden, weil die Adressenangabe nicht ganz korrekt ist aber wir wurden freundlich empfangen und direkt in unser Zimmer geführt. Unserem Zimmer hat man angesehen, dass es in die Jahre gekommen ist. Die Wände sind etwas schimmlig und der Schlauch vom Duschkopft ist runtergerockt aber funktioniert noch. Dennoch war es sauber und ich habe mich sofort in das gemütliche Bett und den Limonenduft im Raum verliebt. Am nächsten morgen sahen wir wenig vom Gartenblick, was wir gebucht hatten. Da war leider eine Baustelle zu sehen. Zudem wurden wir von einem Lärm geweckt, der vom Strand kam. Der wurde leider weggespült und der Sand muss vom Meeresgrund wieder rausgepumpt werden. Wir haben dies angesprochen und eine kleine Erstattung bekommen, da wir wegen der angepriesenen Ruhe diese Unterkunft gebucht hatten. Alles in Allem würde ich, trotz der genannten Punkte, wiederkommen. Der Garten ist wunderschön und Matchatee sehr lecker!

Das Zimmer ist hinten etwas versteckt und besitzt eine süsse gemütliche Terrasse mit Hängematte. Es ist einfach und sehr sauber. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen, da man sich gleich Zuhause fühlt. Man ist in 3‘ zu Fuss am Strand und mit dem Roller super schnell in Hoi An. Das Cafe der Unterkunft hat sehr leckeren Kaffee und die Besitzer sind unglaublich liebevoll. Der einzige Minuspunkt: die Nachbarn sind in der Nacht ziemlich laut. Sie haben Hunde, die in der Nacht oft bellen und um 3.00 Uhr nachts konnte man verschiedene Tätigkeiten aus ihrem Garten hören, die mich oft weckten. Trotzdem war es ein erholsamer Aufenthalt und absolut empfehlenswert.

Wat een heerlijke plek is dit. We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen en voelden ons meteen enorm welkom. Hele prettige ambiance, een oase van rust met veel groen en mooi uitzicht. Onze bungalow was ruim en werd elke dag schoon gemaakt. Het ontbijt is gewoon heel erg goed en met erg lekkere koffie, waar het barretje 'Sound of Silence' ook bekend om staat. Je kunt gratis gebruikmaken van fietsen: binnen 10 minuten zit je in het oude centrum van Hoi An. Zou graag een keer terugkomen!

Nice location, around many restaurants and cool places. The room is clean, the host is friendly and always replies quickly.

if you have a dog this is a great place to stay in hoi an! the outside area is cool to hang out in. its so private , lush and comfy! inside it's also comfy with the big bed on a bamboo frame. the celings are tall with a celing fan. the bathroom is huge. there was even a doggy toilet in there (fake grass area) it's very close to the beach and restaurants. there were even bikes to use for free! the host cooks an amazing breakfast with smoothie! will be back for sure!

Le lieux un peu isolé est parfait pour se reposer du centre très animé de Hoi an. Le personnel est particulièrement attentionné à la moindre demande toujours sympathique et avec le sourire, room service et ménage quotidien parfait! Je recommande sans réserve.

A perfect little getaway spot - after a week near old town Hoi An I wanted to relax in a peaceful setting. Trang’s cottage was perfectly located, steps from the beach with two wonderful restaurants on the other side of the wall. The breakfast was simple and lovely (you get a selection). I really enjoyed such close access to the beach - if you walk right on hitting the sand, you are situated with inexpensive chairs, drinks, etc from the locals - and if you want more peaceful seclusion, just walk left and enjoy the sand!

Wooden house has a soul. It's personal, well situated, nice gardens in front and in back of the house. Safe, beautiful, hss all you need for also a longer stay. Small restaurants and cafes close, also other services like massage or tailor in the neighborhood. And Tuyen is so friendly and helpful host! Anything we needed he helped, and more. I warmly recommend Wooden house and Hoi An to people, who want to stay in a smaller town. All is close for the house bikes to reach: city center, beaches, restaurants, gym, the rice fields, all Vietnam! Best of all is to get lost in the neighborhoods small streets and meet the warm friendliness of the people. Vietnam is something special!

Perfect location for enjoying the ambience of Hoi An away from the claustrophobic crowds of the old town and gain a feel for a local Vietnamese neighborhood. Nguyen has thought of everything - he offers a reasonable priced taxi service to the house and scooter rental for your stay if required. there's also a couple of bicycles for guests' use. He has a useful house book with important details set out and a useful list of important sights to view around the town. There are some delightful coffee shops and excellent Vietnamese restaurants close by if you don't fancy cooking in the kitchen. The highlight for my friend and myself was the availability of the two double beds which saved us having to take two separate hotel rooms and have the home-like feel of the living room to socialise in. Nguyen really is a super host in the truest sense - he was there to welcome us on arrival and his communication prior to arrival was superb. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at his property again.

Loved our stay here! The accommodation was very beautiful and clean, had everything we needed for a two night stay with 3 friends. The beds were super comfortable, we had access to bikes to ride into old town with and Nguyen was kind enough to let us use them and store our luggage after we had checked out on our last day. It’s a super flat and enjoyable 15 minute ride to pretty much anywhere you want to go. Nguyen was very kind, welcomed us in and showed us around, and was very kind and informative. Would definitely stay again!

Une jolie petite maison typique en bois, très propre et confortable avec toutes les commodités nécessaires à un séjour de courte ou moyenne durée. Excellent accueil de l'hôte qui est très disponible pour vous aider. N'hésitez pas à utiliser les vélos mis à disposition ou l'appli Grab bike car c'est rapide et pas cher pour se déplacer en ville ou à la plage.
