Lars’ place is perfect for a short or long stay. Its located in a quiet town along the coastline where you can go bird watching or hiking or cycling. He was kind to provide us with bikes as well. The apartment is well renovated and well maintained.The kitchen has all the equipment needed to prepare meals. The bedroom is cosy with clean sheets and pillows. The bathroom was also clean and had everything one might need.Lars is a very good host! I would definitely recommend

Our stay in a unique arthouse in the fishing village of Den Oever was a fantastic experience. The house, filled with art, history and curiosities, provided a creative and inspiring base. The location was perfect: in the middle of a beautiful and captivating area of the Afsluitdijk, ideal for walks along the coast and discovery tours in the many villages. In addition, the house was centrally located for trips to both Friesland and the rest of North Holland, which allowed us to explore much of the region. from beach days with the children to boat trips across the many canals. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming. She was quick to respond to all our questions and was always ready for a chat. This arthouse is highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a creative and atmospheric place to stay in a beautiful setting.

Miriam was very spontaneous about our booking and welcomed us warmly to her cottage. We felt right at home, everything was tidy and decorated with loving details for a relaxing time. The garden overlooking the sheep and currently with lambs was just too beautiful. We rode our bikes to the dike every day, which was just around the corner, as well as a shopping area.
