Monthly Rentals in Gaasterland

We had a very nice and relaxing Easter in Oudemirdum. The house is quietly located in the forest and was perfect for relaxing in the garden, cooking together and taking excursions in the area. We will be happy to come back!

I was there alone with my dog. The place is in the middle of a beautiful large forest and there is also a large area nearby where the dogs can run freely. However, the accommodation would be too small for four people. Perfect for two people. By car, it's ten minutes to the small beach, with meadow and the sea here is very flat. And this beach was very empty and dogs are allowed. But beware, you share the beach with swans. I really enjoyed the time thank you

Our stay at Marlies' place was very nice, despite the rainy weather on our arrival we had a nice time in the house. The fireplace was our consolation in the wet weather. Sheets and towels were sufficiently available. We found everything we needed & found the garden & playground great. For our children, it was a few nice days in nature right outside the door. Thanks Marlies for the good communication & the Lego chest in the living room.

The cottage is absolutely wonderful!!! We had an amazing weekend staying there. The place itself is so unique and special, and the care, cleanness and attention of details of the hosts made it even more perfect. There is plenty of things to do in the area, walking, biking and visiting many cozy villages nearby. The boat to cross the small canal to reach the house is the cherry on top of all the charm. We will definitely come back and couldn't recommend this place more.
