The MORNING GROUP WALKING TOUR of Palermo lasts 3 hours. My group tour is not just a food tour, but it's a mix of history, culture, architecture, monuments and street food. The MORNING GROUP WALKING TOUR starts at 9.30 am, with me or with my team of official Tour Guides and we will walk for about 4 km. In the first part of the Walking Tour we will visit monuments and churches and in the second part of the Walking Tour we will explore the big outdoor food market and we will eat the famous street food of Palermo (food included, no fish). On a typical lesson day we meet in the morning at one of Palermo’s oldest markets, shop around for any items we will need for the lesson and then stroll to the air-conditioned kitchen in The Sicilian Pantry cookery school where we prepare a 4 course Sicilian meal, learning the techniques and tricks needed to recreate it when you return home. Meals are made up of a starter, pasta course, main course and desert (changes can be made for individuals with specific dietary requirements where appropriate). After the lesson we can sit down together to enjoy the fruits of our labour along with a selection of Sicilian wines rounded off with some homemade liqueurs and coffee. We believe that the true expression of Sicilian cuisine comes from the quality of its fresh seasonal produce so we strive to always ensure that we have the best of what Sicily has to offer in order to share this with our guests. This is an entertaining and informative day out, recommended for cooks of all levels. Join me on one of the most beautiful horseback riding tours in western Sicily, starting from the Trapani Fort Apache Horseback Riding to one of the most evocative routes in the area and we will create unforgettable memories. We will stop in front of monuments, memorials and shops, each is connected with a particular aspect of our story. Sometimes a small detail, that seems unsignificant at first glance, has a story behind it that is worth to be told. An example: Addiopizzo stickers on the shops windows we will see along the walking tour. They belongs to shopkeepers who have said NO to the protection money! You will also have the chance to support them, just buying a gelato, some local products or a souvenir of Palermo. My name is Liliana, I will welcome you to the former Florio factory, taking a dip in the past, where under the ancient porch you will find a kitchen, with all the fresh and seasonal ingredients of our company that we will use together to prepare the food. You'll learn at least two appetizers, like eggplant caponata or arancine. Without a car, just like my mom and my grandmother taught me, we'll make fresh pasta with pearl flour of ancient wheat we produce, and her condiments, like almond pesto. You won't be able to miss a Sicilian dessert, like fresh ricotta cassatelle. During the day we will also use the aromatic herbs from our garden, such as mint and basil for delicious tomato bruschetta. In this magical setting, where time stands still, we will meet at the table to share the smoky dishes, intoxicated with our white and red wines, browsing among the possible pairings. At the end of the class, you'll be able to bring everything we do together.

We will meet next the landing stage, in front Canottieri Palermo Rowing Club. First I will mention the basics of rowing technique and show the equipment supplied (boats, oars, life jackets). Then we will put the boats on water, and I will accompany the rowers in every operation. I will always remain in the same boat. I will let them practice the rowing technique, moving away from the landing stage. The route will start from Canottieri Palermo, it will pass through the tourist part of the port and then it will follow the Foro Italico seashore. The practice of the rowing technique will be accompanied by an explication of landscape and monumental beauties which are parto of Palermo Skyline (Monte Pellegrino and other mountains; Porta Felice, the city domes and other monuments). Other things to note Wear sportswear. No wetsuit or swimsuit is required (no swimming is planned). Bring a small backpack with you to keep your belongings. Activities are open to any age.

The place we will visit is a work of nature. It's a hidden, secret spot. We will go for a sunset bath to the wild thermal springs located in a less popular place among tourists - about 40 minutes by van from Trapani. At the location we will have 3 hot springs, a hot water place hidden in a cave, and a river flowing along the canyon to cool down. You can take a mud bath using clay from the cave walls, you can bask in the water or stand under a waterfall for a natural massage, the choice is yours! The place is absolutely amazing and undoubtedly worth a visit. Without a doubt, its charm adds to its wildness and difficult access for tourists! Transport to the site takes place in an 8-seater van equipped with air conditioning. The price of the attraction includes transport. Meeting point is at Trapani Railway Station.
