Tower vacation rentals in Europe

We had a lovely stay at Migueline and Christophe's. Listing is as described Our hosts were welcoming, available, and responsive to our questions or needs. Even though we live in the same place, the configuration and location of the listing allows for privacy and tranquility. We had a great vacation, thank you!

Jean Marcel is an excellent host, a great welcome. The night at the mill is a unique experience, to be redone!

We stayed at Torre Gigliano for 3 nights in April as a break from a long drive between the UK and eastern Europe. Alessandra was a generous and friendly host, on hand but not intrusive and was flexible with our check-in time when our ferry crossing was changed significantly. The tower was the most perfect place to rest and relax for a few days with both indoor and outdoor space being truly magical. The tower is beautifully presented and we found everything impeccably clean and all facilities exactly as described. The outdoor space is equally stunning with acres of olive groves to wander within (ideal for dogs), a beautifully clean small pool and each of the four sides of the tower offering a different place to sit and relax. We planned to leave the tower and explore Ruvo and the surroundings but found the place just too difficult to leave. Thank you Alessandra.

We had a fantastic stay in this Airbnb listing! Location was just perfect - centrally located, yet quiet. The description of the place was completely accurate, and we found everything exactly as it was described. Communication with the host was also outstanding. We can highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

A gem of a place! Easy and easy to deal with Knut Andre. Very nice and welcoming. It was raining and crying weather but this did not put a damper on the stay. We brought a tarp we set up by the fire pit and they we spent a lot of the time between the sauna and ice bathing all of the food was made on the fire. Hosts and place would highly recommend. Knut Andre(we suspect the wife has been inside the picture here ;) ) had covered, put on beds and folded towel so nice that the next thing is too wrong to use it :):) Take a trip, won't regret it. This was our first stay in Nisbet Tower, which was formerly part of Eyemouth's defence system in warring times. It has been beautifully restored and renovated, a very striking building. The tower is located very close to the astounding rocky coastline on the south side of the harbour. Walking in the area is easy and memorable.

A beautiful place away from any home and a warm host. The mills are in very good condition and clean. Noted however for families and friends: there are no doors in the mill and the sofa bed area is not suitable for adults (small / no box spring, floor mattress). Sleeping in the pool house is not ideal either and would deserve renovation. The place is really suitable for 4 adults with children but not for 6 adults like us:) Of course, we recommend this place where we had a great vacation

This was one of the most unusual places I’ve ever stayed in. We did have a few walkers come up from Chatsworth and admire the view but mainly we were in splendid isolation. Walking around the woods and admiring the Aqueduct in the evening was quite magical; it felt as though we had the whole place to ourselves. The tower itself is an amazing survival from Tudor times and has been modernised sympathetically. The round shower was a favourite feature. The nearby farm shop was very good with a wide range of good quality food. It did snow whilst we were there but Sandra from Chatsworth Cottages kept in touch and made sure we were fine which was much appreciated. Altogether I would recommend the tower for anyone who wants to stay somewhere unusual and highly memorable. One word of caution though there is a spiral staircase connecting the floors so the building is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

We felt very comfortable! The house is beautifully decorated and if you are looking for a retreat from stressful everyday life, this is the place to be. The relaxing evenings in front of the fireplace or the view from the large windows are worth their weight in gold!

It was fresh in Essertenne, too cold for the season. We did not sit outside and then it is very nice that everything is very well taken care of inside. Two great sofas, a nice bed, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. Because it was blowing too hard, we couldn't use the fireplace, we got an extra radiator to warm it up inside anyway. Beatrice tipped us a good restaurant where then enjoyed a lavish Burgundian lunch. In short, we had a nice time at Essertenne!

We were very happy with the place with our family (4 people). The quiet location and proximity to the city made everyone happy. We had very pleasant days in Berlin and would be happy to come back.

Our family loved the house. Great vacation! The owners were very helpful and provided very clear information for everything. We would recommend this place to all of put friends!

One of a kind experience

We really enjoyed our few days at The Lookout and it was fantastic to stay in such a beautiful location in truly unique accommodation. Robert is a fantastic host, always quick to answer any questions and the information provided about local restaurants and places to visit was really helpful. If you’re looking for something a little bit special and a little bit different I’d recommend The Lookout!!

We had the most wonderful weekend staying at the Old Tower. The house is absolutely stunning and the gardens beautifully maintained. Francesca went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, providing us with info on pubs/walks etc Everything was beautifully clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. Would 100% recommend. A fabulous weekend was had by all. Thank you

Sari worked with us after original contact person passed away unexpectedly. Jody had asked for a tree to help with Christmas atmosphere. Our 2 apartments had centerpieces that were attractive and emanated the smells of Christmas. Both units had trees. The lower one was outside the plate glass window with lights and red balls. The one in the second apartment was in the living area and really set the mood for Christmas for us all. Jody was so excited about seeing the faces of all of us when we saw the tower. I am sure he would not have been disappointed since each of us explored our units. He would have been so pleased. Thank you for all your efforts to make our stay as pleasant as could be under our circumstances. We did enjoy our time in your place.

Staying at Debora’s historic tower was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were mesmerized by the tower’s stunning architecture and rich history. Every detail of the space was meticulously thought out, blending modern comforts with historic charm seamlessly. The tower itself is like stepping back in time, with its ancient stone walls and period furnishings, yet it boasts all the amenities one could need. We particularly enjoyed the breathtaking views from the top, offering a panoramic glimpse into the surrounding landscape. The interiors were impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly cozy. Debora was an outstanding host, offering a warm welcome and insightful knowledge about the tower’s history and the local area. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, providing great recommendations for local dining and activities. Her hospitality truly made our stay special. This is not just a place to stay; it’s an experience.

We stayed two nights in the very special place in the church tower. The furnishings are very tasteful and the equipment, especially the kitchen, is extraordinarily good! Almut and Matthias are very friendly and lovely. We explored Würzburg from there and would have liked to stay even longer to get to know the area even more. It was a great place to stay, so special that we would love to come back.

This place is beyond a place to stay is an experience. Bigger than the photos, 4 levels until reaching the top windows with panoramic view of the town. Fairly clean, heating, washer and dryer separately, bathtub with bath salts. The apartment is very special, it is only missing some instructions for the kitchen appliances and lights to enjoy its full potential. This could be an Airbnb plus!

Terracina is a beautiful town and the location of this Appartment in the historical center is amazing. There arw many small restaurants in the vicinity and the access to the beach ocean is beautiful.

We were warmly welcomed by Franziska and felt welcome right from the start. She was always helpful and quickly available when we had questions. The water tower is beautifully quiet and is a real insider tip for anyone seeking relaxation. We were particularly impressed by the great view from above – you can look far into the countryside and simply unwind. The tower itself was very clean, tidy and equipped with everything you need for a successful vacation. We had a really wonderful Easter vacation there – the combination of tranquility, nature and the special flair of the tower made our stay unforgettable. We will be happy to come back!

We had a very nice stay in the attic. The building is superb, very well renovated and maintained. Frédéric was a great host and advised us on great activities to do in the area. We'll be happy to go back!
