Beautiful cosy little cottage , only a few yards from the market square- handy for pubs and local shop and chippie. Spotlessly clean and well equipped-felt like home. Loved the little extras: milk, butter, eggs from their own hens and home made bread and cookies which were lovely and much appreciated. It was lovely to sit in the garden in the sun and watch the world go by and watch the horses on their way up to the gallops. Can't wait to return.

We really enjoyed our short stay at the Cottage. We loved that it was a fully detached house surrounded by beautiful countryside. In the mornings we would watch the birds and squirrels with the supplied spotter scope and I would top up the bird feeders. The house was spotless and the kitchen was very well equipped - probably the most well-equipped kitchen we've even been to. We will definitely visit again :)

Comfortable bed, Hot shower, cosy fire place. What more can I say.... Such a beautiful little cottage in a lovely little village. With a pub up the road and Masham just a few minutes drive away, the cottage is in a great location. Trudi makes sure that the cottage is very welcoming when you arrive with nice little touches like the radio being on, the fire place set and a basket of goodies left for us and our dog too! The cottage has a lovely little matured garden which is enclosed and a garden house with a fireplace where you can sit and read, drink a little wine and listen to the birds sing. There are so many walks(some within walking distance from the cottage) within a short drive away. Swinton Estate is a few minutes drive and has numerous walks, a cafe and even a restaurant and massage therapies if you desire. BlackSheep Brewery is minutes down the road and has great food and ofcourse lovely beers. Thank you Trudi for a wonderful stay.
