Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Elis

The apartment at the (raised) ground floor was very spacious and clean, with all possible amenities. The bedrooms in particular were very large with comfortable beds. The building was surrounded by lawned garden and olive groves, offering privacy and relaxation. Greg even allowed us to use the stone-built barbecue as an extra treat. Very highly recommended!

Pleasant stay in the area 30 minutes from Olympia. The house is safe for young children. We were able to enjoy the games in the garden and at the beach which is just a 1-minute walk away.

A place where you just feel good! You will feel at home. The house is very well equipped. All that would be missing is deckchairs on the terrace to enjoy the cicadas singing among the olive trees so that everything is perfect. No pool but an outdoor shower allows you to cool off when it's very hot and rinse your feet back from the beach. There is air conditioning in each bedroom as well as in the living room. Ideally located in the center of the island, about 30mn from the essential points, 45mn for the ends of the island. Essential car. Small negative, the cleaning had not been done when we arrived (floor, sink, fridge), you should not be demanding on this point. But we have warned Ioannis (who is not present on site) who, we are sure, will not fail to be vigilant on this point for the next ones. Finally, there is a misunderstanding in the listing. Breakfast is not included. There is water, soluble coffee, small individual portions of strawberry jam, and that's it (and out of pdj: a bottle of wine for the stay). Not enough to eat breakfast or no one to bring it to you so as we expected (which is normally the case in other Airbnb of the world when the mention "breakfast included" is indicated). This was what guided our choice with respect to the budget and we had the "surprise" when we arrived. Despite these 2 small points, we already know that if we return to Zakynthos, we will return to this peaceful house with a beautiful view of the mountain.

A beautiful place to stay, very peaceful. Loved our morning and evening terraces. Amazing bird life, butterflies and plants. Everything there for cooking. Tavernas and little shops nearby. Upon arrival, we were immediately enthusiastically and kindly welcomed. How the house is described in the listing, that's what it looked like in person! Clean, spacious and met all wishes! Top service! The host is friendly and easy to reach for questions, activities and tips! With 11 friends we had a fun vacation!

What can say, the stay was everything we wanted and more. The hosts were welcoming, easy to contact and quick to respond to messages. They came to clean our apartment twice in the week. Which for most Airbnbs you wouldn’t normally get this 5 star treatments. We had our own privacy. not even knowing there were others guests staying. Beautiful location, fantastic facilities. Fotis is a great host, we were very warmly welcomed! Fotis is a discreet but very considerate host, he spoiled us with delicious tomatoes from the garden, figs, cactus fruits 🌵 etc... What an amazing property. Stefania was a wonderful host who was able to accommodate us at last minute after arriving and finding our original villa, in the marineika vanato region, was under the flight path, 3 flights per hour for 18hrs a day almost ruined our holiday but Ambelos Villa saved the day. The villa is beautifully designed, modern, very clean and well equipped. The pictures don’t do it justice, it is far bigger. Our children, 9 & 7, loved the mezzanine level with the lower roof, they enjoyed having their own seating area and bathroom. The pool and views are stunning. Sunrise with a coffee on the terrace with nothing but the sounds of nature was a highlight. Irini, the housekeeper is so friendly also. The area has lots of wonderful Taverna’s nearby, Votsalo being a must! Cameo Island is 15mins away. We hired quads to tour up to Zakynthos Town down to Vasilikous and back to the villa. A fun afternoon out. You will have a great holiday at this villa

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Enervillas! The villa was immaculate, with stunning views and every modern comfort you could ask for. The private pool was a true highlight, offering a serene and luxurious experience surrounded by nature. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The eco-friendly design of the villa added an extra touch, knowing we were staying in a space that respects the environment. The location was perfect – close to beautiful Kalogria Beach and other local attractions like Ancient Olympia, which we loved exploring. It was the ideal combination of relaxation and adventure. We highly recommend Enervillas for anyone looking for a luxurious, peaceful, and eco-conscious retreat. We will definitely be coming back!

One of the best airbnb i’ve been. Very private, very good location close to the beach… Host was super kind and helpful.

Host was amazing and incredibly responsive ! Location is great as well. From what we could see of the island, location is just right - walkable distance to beach, restaurants and great spots ! Internet is slow so ensure you have empty data. I’ll say it again though, host made all the difference with his friendliness, recommendations and support !

We stayed at the air bnb for a week and had a great time. Place is quiet with a beautiful view. The house is beautiful too! Everything is kept clean and upon arrival there was a large fruit basket and Greek delicacies ready. We got plenty of tips to do in the area. She also arranged a rental car for us which was completely top. Everything went smoothly and are definitely planning to come back again.

Christina does everything for you! She picked us up at the airport and took us back there without payment. We were connected by cell phone for the whole stay and Christina kept asking if everything was in order. Plus, she gave us valuable insider tips. Accommodation has a lovely garden and super quiet location. Can really only recommend it!!

Our stay in Zakynthos was wonderful. Organizationally worked out excellently with the accommodation. Although we were a little late from the flight, the host was waiting for us. The location is in a quiet spot. Opposite there is a tavern and a bar next to it. In the same street there is also a supermarket, but unfortunately it was closed during our stay. About 1 kilometer away is the house beach, which we only visited upon arrival. Our recommendation to explore the island and the beautiful different beaches/coves with a rental car. The property was cleaned every 3 days and changed laundry. Host was always available and very friendly.

we had a lovely warm welcome from kate, who also provided a list of recommendations for restaurants and shops. the villa was beautiful with everything you could need for a relaxing peaceful stay. the view was breathtaking. we will definitely be back but for longer next time.

Our family loved staying here over the New Year holiday. The surroundings are beautiful. The access to the beach is through olive and citrus groves, and the beach stretches on for miles. The home was cozy. We enjoyed cooking our meals in the outdoor brick oven, and hanging out but the indoor fireplace at night. The host and her family were so kind and helpful, and we even took home some olive like produced on the farm!

The house is exactly as described and really is on an olive farm. The location is idyllic amongst the olive trees. Charles provided excellent instructions so could find the house, you can't go wrong if you follow them. We read some guests were concerned about the road up to the house, it is unpaved in part but not too steep. Our hired automatic Corsa had no trouble. We were left a very good selection of initial supplies, milk, bread milk etc and the house is well stocked with essentials. The local beach is gigantic, magnificent and was sometimes rough during our October stay. Maybe not so good for young children. We visited famous sites such as Olympia (of course, it was great) and found some less visited places hiking in the mountains. Neda waterfall gorge was very good. A great stay, much to see, very comfortable house and aimiable host (learned a a bit about Olive farming, it's hard work). Not many negatives, local towns are a bit anonymous and the local dogs enjoy a good bark.
