Due delays with our transportation it was imposible to arrive to the place but we want to note that the communication was always great, on time, instructions well detailed and Carlos and Mildred were always attentive and kind!! Louis' cabin is definitely spectacular, you feel a tranquility as if you were at home, excellent location to get to know Tikal, there are restaurants around and the public beach where you can swim. I would definitely come back to stay at Louis' cabin.

Lucrecia’s apartment is a good alternative to Flores for tourists looking to visit Tikal. El Remate is a small town on the way between Flores and Tikal, so all tour buses pass through the main road, which can save you about 30 minutes in travel time (and sleep!) compared to staying in Flores. Lucrecia was very responsive and helpful in arranging taxi transfer from Flores and the Tikal tour. The apartment is beautifully located right on the lake and next to the Biotopo Cerro Cahui, which we unfortunately didn’t have enough time to visit. The house itself is clean, private and comfortable, including a-c and hammocks. Definitely recommended!
