We had a great stay at Ailed & José’s place. It is very central in Puerto Escondido. About a 5 min drive to Carrizalillo and 10-15 to Zicatela and La Punta. It is in a busy area so expect traffic noise during the day but as mentioned it is quiet at night. The desk and monitor are great for those who work. The whole loft is super spacious. Plenty of supermarkets and local food places around. Would recommend staying here, especially if you’re staying for more than a few days. Thanks for a great stay!

I just spent 5 unforgettable days in a palapa in Punta Zicatela, and I can say without hesitation that it was one of the most special accommodations I have stayed in. From the moment I arrived, the place conveyed a unique energy: warm, comfortable, full of details thought out with love and respect for the surroundings. Although I didn't have air conditioning, there was no need at all. The architecture of the palapa allows for delicious natural ventilation, and the nights feel cool and quiet, accompanied by the sound of the sea and the swing of the palms. Everything was ready for rest: comfortable bed, spacious spaces, good shade, and a vibe that invites you to disconnect and just be. And I can't help mention Jorge, who made it all flow with genuine hospitality. Not only was she responsive and helpful at all times, but she also shared recommendations that made a difference in the experience. Jorge cares that each guest has their best experience :)
