The house is old and wooden, which gives it a unique and nostalgic personality. It is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you would expect from a BnB. It has a very large garden space where our pet could explore and feel free. An excellent experience. We would come back again.

Loved Casa Hormiga! Cute, quaint, hut was the perfect place to start my time in Costa Rica! So sad I missed out on one night with airline delays. Jose is so friendly and a wonderful host! I opted for a craniosacral massage service and to go see the 500 year old tree up the street. It was a glorious day! He also gave other wonderful recommendations of things to do/see in the area.

Lovely place with an incredible patio view. Having a home cooked breakfast was very nice and the food was great. The winds are very strong and loud so if you are a sensitive sleeper it may keep you up all night. I would recommend ear plugs.

All I can say is WOW, the stay was amazing. I never seen something as beautiful as this place. I will say the ride up there to the cabin is windy and rough terrain but once you get up there it’s amazing. Is a restaurant in the area also which has amazing food and beautiful views. If you never experienced a tropical rain forest this is definitely the place to visit and cross it out your Bucket List.
