Cycladic house vacation rentals in East Attica Regional Unit

A wonderful home and wonderful hosts! George and Valika picked me up from the airport and were super helpful throughout my stay. Valika showed me the Temple of Artemis and shared with me its history. The room was so cozy, I would 100% live in a little cabin like that. I loved playing the piano and relaxing after a day in the sun. The area felt very safe for a woman travelling solo. The bathroom and kitchen had everything I needed, the sea is only 10mins walk away and I discovered a great hiking trail up the mountain behind the house. I would come back here in a heartbeat! Be mindful that Chamolia has no supermarkets and only one restaurant, so make sure to bring groceries (again, George and Valika very kindly offered to drive me to the next town over if I needed anything).

Franks house was exceptional. It was beautifully equipped with everything we needed. very comfortable and clean. The location was stunning. It was very hard to leave. We will definitely be back.

We had a pleasant stay. The apartment matches the listing. It is very pretty, comfortable and quiet. Its large terrace open to the sea is like an extra room, we enjoyed it a lot. The location met our expectations in every way. Very beautiful sea corner, cute little town, quiet and at the same time very convenient: beaches, restaurants, small supermarket within walking distance. Nothing to say about the welcome. Alkis very kind, responsive and available. In short, I recommend it without reservation!

We had a good stay , the house lives up to the description, it was well stocked, clean , the view is really great and the hosts are communicative . We will not miss the dirt road which is especially bad for common cars. It concerns why while it is quite populated, the surrounding area has not improved in some way ( because there is definitely a way) from the municipality or the region who is relatively responsible.

We stayed in studio 3, which offers the most in terms of privacy, but restricted sunlight onto the balcony area during the daytime. We didn’t use the pool which is located directly outside of studio 4 and one of the smaller studios. The studio itself in terms of cleanliness we could not fault, including the mid-week linen and towel changes. The studio is well equipped, including a dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board. We were kindly met at the port by Evangelia, we were grateful of this as we doubt we would have located the studio ourselves due to it being located in a remote area accessed by a 15-20 minute journey down a challenging, undulating dirt track which tested both the ability of our hire car, and indeed driving skills when returning back to the studio in darkness each evening. The location of the studio is in a remote area, with other properties set in the rock face which are set just up from the beach. The beach was nice, it gets busier at the weekends when there is also a charge of 25 Euros for two sun beds, a parasol, two towels and two bottles of water, there is however space on the beach if you just want to set out your beach towels, free of charge. There are no taverna’s or supermarkets located near the studio, the closest being another 15-20 minute drive back along the dirt track, we ended up doing this journey at least twice a day, once to explore the island, and again in the evenings to enable us to visit the taverna’s. All in all, the studios are well presented, and ideally located if you want to watch the sunset and enjoy a relaxing holiday away from the crowds.

Nice detached bungalow in a dead end street with beautiful houses. Quiet area, cozy restaurants by the sea are about 1 km away. Nice spacious kitchen, dining area and living room. The three bedrooms are nice and spacious with plenty of closet space. The bathroom is big enough, just standing in the bathtub is a bit cramped. Beautiful large covered terrace with 2 dining tables and lounge set. Parking is on private property. Many people have a watchdog, who regularly catch up. Atnight it was quiet. Convenient is the washing machine. Nice that there is Netflix too much. For groceries, there is a Lidl at 3 km. On the main road at about 1 km there are also bakeries and other supermarkets. Furthermore, there is a wide range of shops. The beach is close by and there are several places to sunbathe and swim. The harbor is very cozy. Athens is 45 minutes away by car. Parking in one of the many garages/spots near downtown costs about €10 per day. The airport is about 30 minutes by car, very pleasant. Nea Makri is top.

A quite perfect AirBnb. The views and location are incredible. Walkable from the ferry and surrounded by good restaurants/bars. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay in Elena’s apartment. We were only there for four nights but would happily have stayed longer. The apartment was in a quiet block and was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Check-in was easy, and Elena was very responsive. We loved staying in the Pangrati neighbourhood, which has excellent restaurants and shops all within easy walking distance. We had fantastic souvlaki, enjoyed stopping for coffee in local cafés, and treated ourselves to delicious ice cream in the evenings — all just minutes from the apartment. The area has a lively but relaxed atmosphere that made it a pleasure to explore. It was an easy and enjoyable walk to the main tourist sites (about 15 minutes), and it was always great to return in the evening to this more residential part of the city. A real bonus was being so close to the Panathenaic Stadium — an oasis of green space. Our 11-year-old loved it, and we all enjoyed sitting on its walls to watch the sun set over the Acropolis.

Dimitrios' home is beautiful, tastefully and simply furnished. The rooms are comfortable and spacious as well as the living room and outdoor spaces. The kitchenette is comfortable and has what you need. The view is magnificent and the two adjacent beaches, one of sand and the other of rocks can be reached in three minutes. We hope to be back...
