Couldn’t recommend this place enough!! The place is very homey and as soon as we got there felt very comfortable. It was warm and cosy and would definitely go back if I am ever in the area. Thanks Siobhan for being such a great host!!

Linda was highly responsive to all of our requests. Her place was absolutely spotless, she welcomed us with such kindness with a little personalized welcome sign and even some treats! The place had a great view overlooking the river and mountains. She offered great suggestions for things to do and places to go to eat. It was also very private. We saw many deer on the property! She made us feel like family in offering such a comfortable and family friendly place to stay. We would highly recommend staying there and look forward to returning once things are opened up, especially the Mt. Carleton National Park, which was a short drive away. While our stay was too short, it was exactly what we needed. Linda, you really should consider charging more!!! Thank you very much for sharing your slice of heaven with us!

After a long week if driving across the country, Betsy’s place was a cozy spot to rest and recharge. My dog thought it was his new home and moped when I packed us up to leave the next day. Was exactly what we needed :)

This is our third time staying at Jim's place and everytime we go it feels just like home. It's private, well kept and makes you feel safe!! The lake view is spectacular and the night stars are amazing!! Its a great place to get away amd truly unwind!! Living in a highly populated place and getting the opportunity to escape that is what Jims cabin is!!! We always look forward to our visit and hope to make this a yearly thing for our family!!! Jim thank you for allowing us the opportunity to just sit back and relax and enjoy nature for awhile before we have to go back to Portland...again i cant say enougn good things about this place!! If ur like us and just want peace and quiet and a good time sitting by the fire and listening to the loons than this is the place to be!! Do worth the 5 hr drive!!!!
