Beachfront vacation rentals in Douro River

We are absolutely impressed with the warmth and hospitality of Jorge and Susana! We stayed for 2 weeks and felt completely comfortable! It was spotlessly clean and cozy furnished and lovingly decorated. The bed was so comfy! Jorge and Susana were always available and even left us a few treats on arrival and during the stay. It was also great that we had a separate in the courtyard completely to ourselves. For our two dogs totally great, as they could lie in the sun all day when we were working without having to be afraid that they could run away. In 5 minutes you can walk directly to the huge sandy beach. It was fantastic and we also quickly took the neighbors to heart. Sincere thanks for the great time! We will be back!

We loved our stay at the Moledo shoreline. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and listening to the ocean from the patio door. There are markets, cafes, and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Plus we appreciated the hosts being flexible and letting us check in early. We would love to return one day.

Marco was great! He was patient when our train was late and showed us around. The location by the beach was fabulous with lots of great restaurants close by! We appreciated the easy bus to Porto! Marco was also so kind when we forgot an item in the house. We are so grateful for his help!

We were super satisfied with the location, described accommodation in which we filled up like at home, contact and lightning-fast helpful contact with the host of every star and euros worth. Nice little place in an ideal spot if you’re just looking for somewhere to relax. The terrace over looking the ocean is great, and you can walk for miles along the coast line on the walk way. Exactly what I wanted.

Hi Manu! Thank you for this stay where, as you know, we felt right at home. Everything has more for us: the cozy side of the house, its location, coffee on the small table outside in full sun, being a 5 minute walk and 2 with the bikes kindly loaned from the beach, cafes/restaurants with sea views, mills...Top!!! We should meet again soon! B

The place is truly a dream. The whole house is super equipped, there is nothing missing in the kitchen and the beds are super comfortable. We had a great stay and were very grateful for the great communication with the owners. The area is really nice and the beach is not only super close, but also very very nice. We'd come back in a heartbeat!

We have never experienced such a well-maintained, clean and well-equipped apartment. It corresponds 100% to the photos. There is a large underground parking lot. The landlord Manuel took care of things proactively and asked several times if everything was okay. The location is right on the main beach of Esmoriz, separated only by the waterfront road. However, it should be noted that at the end of August, a fair takes place right in front of the house with corresponding volume in the afternoon and evening.

This place is wonderful if you’re looking for peace, some time in a pool/the river and don’t mind being a little drive away from amenities. Daniel is an incredibly responsive host and was able to find solutions to two issues that arose for us surprisingly quickly. We cooked in the house every night except for one and had everything we needed for that. There’s a laundry room which is helpful too.

We highly recommend it! Nelson is very responsive and friendly. Perfect location 2 min walk to the beach (sea view). The apartment is even bigger than the pictures! Very well equipped and clean. The pool is great too. Only downside: maybe the lack of deckchair near the pool for sunbathing :) Thank you for the quality of the accommodation!

Excellent apartment, with a great location. Everything was as described and in perfect condition. Very comfortable parking. From the door you have a walk to O Grove which is a luxurious view of the Ría. Totally recommended. Let's repeat

We've been there four nights. The apartment has everything, especially the garage, which is very good and essential to spend the day outside and have the peace of mind of parking at home. The fantastic area on the seafront, five minutes from the bridge that takes us to the Isla de la Roja on one side and on the other to the port area and the small urban beach. All this on foot; and the street behind and adjacent, quiet but with shops and restaurants. Fantastic for visiting the entire area of O Grove and its beaches and within a 15km radius, Sanxenxo, Portonovo, La Lanzada... In short, an apartment that matches its host and location, a 10! Nice stay and a stone's throw away from the beach and the village of Baiona.

We had a wonderful stay in Marta’s home! It was beautiful and comfortable. We felt right at home! Marta was available and happy to answer any questions we had. She was proactive and checked in with us to make sure our stay was going well. The area is gorgeous. Walkable and easy to explore. We hope to be able to come back one day!

Great location for sun downers on the beach and a short walk to a river beach. Peaceful location and setting. We all loved the place.

This is truly the best airbnb I have ever been to. Mushroom house will be a great experience in one of the world’s most beautiful places. It’s a hidden gem and I highly recommend it. Definitely worth its money!
