Farmstay vacation rentals in Darling Downs

Our 2nd stay at the glorious Beaumont high country homestead and this mini break was just as good, if not better than we remembered. The homestead is the perfect spot to enjoy all that Chinghee Creek has to offer - rolling hills, friendly cattle, peace and quiet, and quality family time at its best. Our kids (10 & 13) spent their days exploring and battling each other at table tennis, and we all enjoyed reading, baking, and board games. Our hosts Claire and Rod were incredibly helpful and generous during our stay, inviting us to view some recently born calves at Christmas Creek. A five star rating doesn't seem enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great property in a beautiful location. Very peaceful and quiet yet within a 10 minute drive of Maleny. I whole heartedly agree with the many positive comments that have been left by others who have stayed at the property in recent months. The property is well maintained, fixtures and fittings are of good quality and everything was clean and tidy upon our arrival. Lots of little extras (such as the ground coffee in the kitchen and the library of books) go to make this an exceptional stay. Highly recommended and we would not hesitate to book again in the future.

We appreciated all the support Sana gave us in checkin our food and luggage early. She was a great host, very funny! Alex tried to help us with our car battery. We had a fabulous stay!!!

We so enjoyed our week at this very very comfortable cottage on Balmoral ridge. Sitting on the deck with wonderful views of the beautiful hinterland countryside a highlight, even in the rain! The cottage has great beds and linen, really clean throughout and a stylish bathroom with super towels. A very well appointed kitchen - with a fabulous coffee machine. Big tv, comfortable sofa etc.. all round an excellent stay. Also a big thank you for letting us bring our beloved four legged friend , we were respectful and grateful he could be with us, We look forward to returning !

Our stay was cut short, but the place was lovely and very peaceful. Hans is a very welcoming host. We will have to return!

We had a wonderful stay. Fantastic historic cabin peaceful with amazing views. We were fortunate to experience Dean's extensive collection of leather work from the past and what he currently makes. A totally enjoyable farm. Loved the horses and cows. Thanks Kim and Dean!

This was our first visit to Queensland's Scenic Rim region, and the Woodman's Cottage was a perfect choice. Gary and Claire and their little doggo Maggie are very welcoming, but never intrusive, hosts. Their property is tranquil, with beautiful grounds and amazing views to the mountains and sunsets. We loved that the cottage was so private and comfortable, and is only a short drive to cafes and shops. We also loved the little bbq shed, with an old Kooka stove converted into a bbq. It's the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine in the afternoon watching the beautiful sunset. We were in the area for a wedding and really appreciated Gary's help with directions to the wedding venue. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing stay.

Our stay was incredible! It was a cozy spot to get together with friends. The pictures don’t do the size of the rooms or pool justice!

The accomodation was very clean and comfortable, with everything that we could possibly need for our stay provided. We chose not to cook, but could have done just about anything that we wanted to. We needed and wanted a relaxing weekend and had exactly that. As well as sight seeing an area that we were unfamiliar with, We very much enjoyed just sitting on the comfortable lounge outside, amongst lovely plants and trees and watching the cows, birds, and horses. There was even an elective supply of books and local information, and, as an ardent reader, I could have spent a lot more time there just relaxing. Many thanks to Robyn and Glen for exactly the right weekend for us at that point in time.

The place was amazing exactly as described. Very tranquil setting with all the modern comforts of home. We had an amazing stay, on arrival we found a fresh baked sour dough and fresh eggs. My wife loved the hammock which is easy to set up. Maggie's cottage was well worth the price, and Imbil is a lovely country getaway.

Such a lovely spot watching the birds from the back verandah, taking in the views and enjoying the peaceful silence. The little staples left in the fridge was a lovely gesture. Absolutely loved this place. You won’t regret your time here.

Firefly was even better than we thought it was going to be. Complete privacy, awesome accommodations and everything we needed for a peaceful getaway and Wayne & Jodie were lovely hosts. We will definitely return.

We had an excellent stay at Nikki's place. Fantastic location, great facilities available and a very cosy, excluded vibe out the back of the property. Couldn't recommend staying here enough.

Thoughtful and considered. The hosts thought of everything! Salts to soak for the outdoor bath, food for the friendly horses and a delicious welcome hamper. Touches such as having an oil diffuser on in the bathroom, little chocolates left on our bedsides and beautiful fresh flowers on the table made our stay feel that bit more luxurious. I’ll be recommending the Cowboy Cabin to all my friends and family. A must stay!

Another wonderful stay at Sandy's beautiful property. This is now our go to house when visiting Warwick, very peaceful and very accommodating hosts!

My friends and I had a wonderful time at Alison's place. Catering for two couples, with other guests coming over one evening, we had plenty of places to choose from to relax, find solitude and to gather as a group. the views from the verandah were lovely. it's a place that is suitable for family gatherings.

A great place for a peaceful retreat. A lot of space for kids to play and enjoy themselves. The mountain views and fields were amazing. We will definitely consider Cara's property for another holiday.

We were able to create special memories with our family in a beautiful forest setting. The living room with the fireplace was incredibly cozy and quickly became everyone's favorite spot. There was more than enough space for the five of us, and it would definitely be comfortable even for a larger group. The interior design and lighting were stylish and created a calm atmosphere that allowed us to fully relax.

My wife and I spent the weekend here for her birthday. We loved every single minute of it and plan to come back. The area is really quiet and the pictures on Airbnb really don’t do justice. You have to stay here to see it for yourself. It was actually raining for the whole duration but it only made the views look more spectacular. Perfect to wake up in the morning have a coffee and view the range from your bed

Lizzy’s place is a well appointed, clean and modern home that was perfect for a relaxing weekend to unwind. The beautiful fixtures and finishing touches made it feel more luxurious and inviting. Our favourite experience was reading every morning and afternoon on the swinging chair on the verandah. Would highly recommend this accomodation to family and friends.
