Country home & lush gardens "Casa Cantarana"

If you are a nature lover who enjoys a country, somewhat rustic-style home, this is the place for you. It wasn't easy to find (don't follow Waze's directions...), but we finally found it with Michealyn's direction. We didn't have time to enjoy the garden since we were busy every day with activities (Semuc Champey is a MUST!). But if you have more time on your hands, it is a great place to relax with nature outside your door. a few tips to make the stay better: The dogs are friendly, but after the first night, where they barked all night long right under the bedroom window, my advice is to ask to take them off the premises for your stay. The host easily did it. If the internet is down (which happens every few hours), unplug it and plug it back and it will work. Ask the host how to get the hot water in the shower (it's a little trick). All in all, Michaelyn was quick to respond and the housekeepers were a great help as well.

We had an amazing stay! The location was right in the middle of nature, which made it wonderfully peaceful. Brian responded very quickly to all our messages, and thanks to the night bus we were able to check in earlier than expected. Paulina prepared a delicious dinner and breakfast for us – everything was absolutely perfect. We felt extremely welcome and received lots of helpful tips that really made a difference during our trip. Even breakfast was adjusted to fit our early departure time, which we really appreciated. Overall, they (Silvia, Brian and Paulina) were incredibly helpful and made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for a peaceful place to relax and have a wonderful time with your family and friends, I couldn’t recommend a better place to choose..! I travel a lot and quite frankly… This place beats any of the places I’ve stayed at before! Coban is beautiful, green, peaceful, this place put “icing on the cake” to my experience! Located close to Cemuc Champey which was my final destination… Best place ever!!!!

The place was great! It was big with plenty of space for the family and kids. We loved the setup of the home. And the flowers were beautiful that the host had for us when we arrived. We would recommend this place.

We loved the house really is a comfortable place, quickly the person who gives the keys is very friendly. We liked that in the kitchen there were truffles that are useful. We didn't feel like At Home, thank you. We would choose this house again

We really liked it, in every way. The service upon arrival was impeccable, they were very friendly, fast, efficient and helpful. I recommend that you check your route well when leaving so as not to go on a long dirt road (most likely you will get stuck). Go first to the temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or towards UPANA and after arriving there, mark your next destination. (As indicated at the hotel☺️)

Very nice place to relax. For the price it is great!! It is not at all luxurious inside but it is clean and has everything we need. The very quick communication with the host and the entrance/exit of the super practical place. Quite close to the village to look for food. No problem with our dogs (they always respect the animals in the place) Thank you very much!!!
