Jean's place was very nice. Very special and pleasant. Spectacular views of the lake and we had kayaks and were able to swim. It's advisable to arrive by car if you want to bring food. Spacious rooms and a nice terrace to enjoy the lake. Everything was very good.

A peaceful oasis located a quick tuktuk ride from Panajachel. Matched the photos and description perfectly, and acted as a great home base for exploring the towns around Lake Atitlan. The terrace & hot tub were a lovely oasis, especially during sunrise and sunset. The owner coordinated a tuktuk transfer for us from Panajachel, then met us for check-in. They set up a few more for us during our stay, but we also found it quite easy once we were situated to hail one ourselves. We felt safe walking to Pana and Santa Caterina Palopó during the daytime, and took a tuktuk to the Pana ferry to visit San Pedro, San Juan and San Marco.

We had a great stay at Augustus’ place. Taking the path along the water, it’s 5 min walk to the main pedestrian street of San Marcos. Place was spotless, and the view and entryway patio is awesome. There were some water issues of first days, heat and pressure, we let Augustus know and he was able to resolve quickly. Thanks for a great stay!

This place exceeded our expectations, it was even more beautiful than the photos! The living space is spacious and breathtaking, with a stunning yard that offers an unobstructed view of the volcano. The kitchen was fantastic, and we loved spending our evenings cooking dinner and grilling on the barbecue. Every night, we used the temazcal (like a sauna), which made our stay even more special. Lesley and the groundskeeper were incredibly responsive, kind, and made us feel right at home. Lesley also shared local recommendations and kept us informed about daily events in San Marcos. An unforgettable stay, we wish we could have stayed longer!

Phenomenal place, the view is unmatched. Rodolfo, Jose and Diego were top notch at helping with anything we needed. Book it! You won’t regret it :)

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location. Very quiet but only a few minutes from the centre of Antigua with all the restaurants and cafes. Hosts were really communicative and accommodating when our arrival was delayed. A great stay.

The house is very beautiful. A lovely design and filled with beautiful touches and artwork. An amazing view off the veranda, and the gardens are relaxing and full of birds. We all enjoyed the clean pool very much too. Overall it was an amazing place to relax and recharge. There is a walk up to the local village of Santa Clara or tuk tuks to take you up the hill, and the village has a produce market on Saturdays. We also recommend CECAP for great meals with the best view, as well as fair trade traditional handicrafts. It was easy to get a boat at the public dock. It’s probably easiest to arrange your own driver and boat to the private dock as then it’s easy to contact them if they do not turn up or know where to go (problems we had through no fault of the host). Definitely shop in Pana as the shops are very small in Santa Clara. Be aware it was hazy every day for 6 days and apparently this is common in April (or other months too?) because of cane burning. We recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful house, and I have to say, Adolfo was an exceptional host. From the moment we arrived, he made sure everything was perfect for us. His hospitality was above and beyond, offering helpful recommendations, answering any questions we had, and making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.
